These fire blankets are an excellent value for the quality you get. I’ve purchased "higher-end" versions before, but these hold up just as well for a fraction of the cost. The fact that you get two in the pack is a bonus, and the clear, easy-to-read instructions printed right on the front make them very user-friendly in an emergency. Each one has a metal eyelet for convenient hanging, or you can simply hold the one end and pull the tabs to release the blanket quickly when needed. The size is perfect for a variety of small fire situations, and the material feels durable, flame-resistant, and effective, while still remaining lightweight. They’re simple to use, just cover the fire and let it smother out, with minimal mess afterward. While they don’t replace a full fire extinguisher, they’re a great safety backup to have around the kitchen or garage. For the price, it’s an affordable, practical addition to any home’s emergency kit. Definitely recommended for peace of mind! Read more

Arrived on time and as described. Although I haven't had a fire to try these out, I *do* have legit professional Fire Fighters in our family who recommend these for home use. There are 4 packs of 40"x 40" blankets that can be used on liquid, grease, and biofuel fires, but NOT used on electrical fires. They can can be wrapped around a person or thrown over a fire to smother flames, and it never expires or needs to be recharged. Each pack has a one grommet centered on the top, but does NOT come with a hook like other brands include. I feel, for the price, we can always just get our own. This brand does NOT include fire resistant gloves as other companies include, but then again, for the price, one can always purchase these separately. There are two pull tabs on the base of each pack (presumably made of black nylon webbing) one uses to pull open the pack to release the blanket which needs to be unfolded to cover the fire. We purchased these for families as gifts, and so far everyone who has received them has been excited to have them. Bottom Line: For the price, convenience, and the safety they provide I highly recommend. Read more

We live in a fairly remote wooded area, at least 20 minutes from the volunteer fire station. I purchased these to add to our home safety gear. The fire blankets are as depicted. I purchased these because they were very reasonably priced and a little larger than others I considered. I plan to buy another set to give away as gifts. Read more

This one is hard to do a review on as I hope to never have to use it. I bought the 4 pack with the all but one being gifts. I hung mine up in my kitchen for kitchen use. It seems to be made well in a nice nylon pouch. It hangs on a hook with a metal grommet. I like that it has instructions printed on the pouch and it has two black nylon straps that hang below for ease of pulling the blanket out if ever needed. It makes it simple to pull out the blanket if ever needed. So, I am giving this product five stars for its packaging, clear instructions, and apparent ease of use. Hopefully it will never be needed and will just decorate the side of my kitchen cabinet. Read more
