This screen is a very tough foam product. It can take an impact without the screen moving around much. More important, it does not make a lot of noise. The basic screens make a bang sound when the ball hits it. This screen by contrast makes a dull thud sound. I would compare this to pro screens costing 4 times as much or more. The product description talks about it's fireproof qualities, which is important. Just as important is the useability. I would put this at the top of my list for a home impact screen.
