Just looking for something to keep the hair out of the way without using a ponytail we wanted headbands of some kind. We have a couple similar to these and like them so we got this pack as it seemed like the best value for our money with all the colors and variety. It’s kind of thin but thats a good thing as it still holds the hair well and doesn’t slip that much so it doesn’t add that much bulk to the head. It does slip some especially when putting a jacket on over your head. May be user error. Great headbands though especially for the price and the variety of colors you get. I've had these for a couple of months now and, while I like the mix of colors and softness, I find them a little too loose and stretchy. They're not doing a great job of holding back my unruly hair or staying reliably in place. I use them to keep my hair back while washing my face, etc, and for brief, low activity outings.
