These are so cute and comfortable - they fit a bit oversized, but I wouldn't let that discourage you from ordering your true size. It's just the way they are designed. For me, they are high-rise and sit just below my belly button. I'm 5'5", and the length is perfect and hits just as is shown on the model. If you love Free People buy these for a lot less. Great quality, great fit. Super cute. Ordered 2 different colors. Why pay more when you don't have to Wash well, don't shrink and very comfortable. I would order based on waist. As long as it's not too tight, I would size down as to not have too much material in the back. They do run a little large. These came ripped in the seat. I had to order another pair and I’m supposed to return the torn ones. Amazon used to just replace the item no questions asked.
