Genuinely had a hard time deciding between 4 or 5 stars. Decided upon 4 because for what this costs compared to similar products, there are things that could be much better. What I like: 1) Fits the entirety of my legs. I’m 5’ 5” and the medium is perfect 2) High quality materials including the carrying case 3) It genuinely does do its job well What I would’ve expected to be better for the price: 1) Bad battery life. Great alternative to a massage chair. For athletes, weight training or the working man (or woman)... I had a recliner massage chair for about ten years that I used after a long day working on projects that are physically demanding, but it finally gave out. I priced getting a new chair, but opted instead to go with these leg compression massage sleeves in combination with a shiatsu back massager and just my regular recliner. These do a much better job on my legs and do not start to hurt after just a short period of time like what would happen with the roller/kneading type. I can run these for 20-30 minutes and they do not make my legs sore. They also work better for circulation, which is key to helping muscles recover more quickly. The best part is, they can be stored away with the back massager in a closet and don't have to look at a bulky massage chair in the living room anymore, which is a big deal. They are completely self-contained, so I can easily set up anywhere that I want without cords going across the floor to a wall outlet, even out on the patio when the weather is nice. After a day of carrying lumber, plywood, sheetrock, etc., I can slip these on after a hot shower and let them work for 20-30 minutes and when I stand up, I can immediately feel the difference, with no soreness after getting up and feeling ready to go again the next morning. The price is competitive once you realize the difference between these and others that are “suggested” at a cheaper price. These are for your entire leg, including foot, calf and thigh, whereas the cheaper ones are only a “boot” and do just the foot and thigh. This unit also has 5- zones that you can control to use or not and the intensity of each zone, versus the lesser units that just work as one section only. It doesn't seem like a big deal until you use it a few times and realize your upper calf needs more intensity that your lower calf and the same with your thigh, and being able to control it to that degree is a huge benefit. I have been using this unit for about 4 months, 3-4 times per week for 20-30 minutes per session and I've had zero issues with it. It literally makes the difference of me getting up in the morning with zero soreness after a hard day versus needed to “warm-up” and get going again before it doesn't hurt to walk, especially since the cold weather has started and it takes longer for the muscles to warm up. I will continue to use the sleeves as I have been and come back and update my review if I encounter any long-term use issues, but for now, I am very satisfied with them. These are comfortable to use and provide great relief through compression and increased circulation. While they have a hefty price tag, they seem very well made and perform well. As such, they aren't super compact but certainly are portable. I like that they are cordless so I'm not limited to using them near an electrical outlet. The control allows for adjusting the settings to your needs and the zone button is handy. They feel really great and you will probably have to share them with other family members once they try them.
