I've owned several smartwatches over the years. This is one of the more expensive watches, and the quality of the hardware can almost justify the price. Likes - Large, clear, responsive display. Easy to read outdoors with polarized sunglasses, as long as brightness level is increased beforehand. - Message font is large enough to read. - Large selection of watch faces. - Watch user interface is logical and easy to learn. - Seems well made, but very heavy compared to other watches. - Long battery life. - Step count and miles traveled are pretty accurate, whether workout is started from the watch or the app. - Stride length is more accurate than other watches. - Heart rate is accurate, as long as the watch does not slide down to the wrist bone. - Sleep data seems accurate. - There is no Bluetooth interference with my earbuds during a workout, unlike other smartwatches. - Flashlight: very bright and focused, the best I've seen yet. - Metal watchband is comfortable. - Handy tool included for removing watch band sections takes some practice. Note that band pins can only be removed and inserted one way because of an enlarged head on one end. - Workouts started from the app include GPS data overlaid on a map. Workouts started from the watch do not do this. Dislikes - Group SMS messages not pushed to watch, but group WhatsApp messages work fine. - Message length is very limited, less than 100 characters including sender info. You cannot scroll to see more of the message unlike other watches. - Do Not Disturb mode is manual, cannot be set with a schedule. - Workout started in the app is only in the app, not mirrored or controlled by the watch. - No audible workout status updates (miles, time, heart rate) from watch or app. - Elevated heart rate warnings only happen when workouts started from the watch, not the app. - Elevated heart rate warnings occur with every 1 bpm change, up or down, with no delay in between. So the display is constantly on and eating up the battery until the heart rate drops below the set threshold. - Heart rate data included with workout record only when the workout is started from the watch, not the app. - Limited set of workouts on the watch, cannot be updated from the app. - Heart rate not updated very often on all watch faces. - Raise to wake has a very long interval where repeated attempts are ignored. This cannot be configured. - Not sure why raise to wake has only a 2 - 6 second limit for turning on the display, whereas a button push can keep the display awake for 5 - 30 seconds. - Battery levels are only displayed in 10% increments. - Watch vibration is weak, even when set at the strongest level. - Music player controls cannot be accessed during a workout started from the watch.
