My surgeon recommend that I wear compression socks to the surgery and after. I have purchased a pair of compression socks before, but these by far have been the most comfortable nice looking compression socks. I wear a size 7 1/2 shoe. I purchased the size S/M they fit absolutely beautiful cause the compression is just perfect even by looking at the garment you can see where the different levels of compression are. There is no compression in the toes, which is very important for comfort! I intend to wear these compression socks As a normal knee sock even when my surgeon says I don’t need to. I have mild varicose veins in my legs, so my calves often feel heavy and uncomfortable after standing or sitting for long hours. I bought this compression sleeve hoping it would give my legs better support, and it worked much better than I expected. The sleeve holds my calf very firmly. It is not loose at all, and the pressure feels even from top to bottom. When I put it on, my leg feels stable, almost like the muscles and veins are held in the right position. The tightness is strong but not painful. It gives a deep sense of security that cheaper sleeves usually cannot give. After wearing it for a few days, I noticed less swelling and less tiredness at the end of the day. The material is thick and does not slide down during movement. Even when I walk a lot or go up and down stairs, it stays in place. The stitching feels solid, and the compression level has stayed the same after several washes. I wear it during work and sometimes at night when my leg feels too heavy. Every time, it gives the same steady support. For someone with light varicose veins like me, this product makes a real difference. It reduces the “pulling” feeling in my leg and gives strong comfort. The price is reasonable for the quality. I honestly wasn’t expecting to like these as much as I do! I’m 30wks pregnant and have low BP and have been having swelling in my ankles. My dr told me to start wearing compression socks which I was dreading because it’s summer so they’re hot and so hard to get on with a pregnant belly. I tried another pair first with lower compression and while they were easier to get on, they didn’t really do much. I will not say they are fun to get on when you can barely reach your feet, but it’s definitely doable. So if you aren’t pregnant, you shouldn’t have an issue! My legs usually get so itchy with compression socks but these have been very comfortable and I noticed an immediate decrease in ankle/foot pain, as well as much less swelling. I also love that they don’t look like typical compression socks, they’re kinda cute/sporty. I saw some reviewers say the material pilled really easy, and after 1 day of wearing them I did notice that, but doesn’t affect the feel or functionality of them and considering the price point, it’s barely worth mentioning. The pic is after one day of wear, mostly inside without shoes. I would definitely buy these again and will recommend them to my other pregnant friends. Fitrell socks are great! I’ve tried other, way more expensive, pairs of compression socks. These are by far the best. The tops of the socks don’t pinch hardly at all near the top like others, and they are easier to put on. They are doing the job with my swelling issue.
