great value for the money 280lbs of wight and a 45lbs bar all for $280 is hard to beat. The bar is solid and feel veery durable. Others mention the wights are oily and smell, I've only found the 35s and 45s to really be all that oily. there is a smell but its not that bad and fades 90% fairly quickly. Would buy again. I ordered this set, and it arrived in separate boxes (as expected). All the boxes were in unopened condition, and each plate was wrapped in plastic. One of the 10lb plates looked like it was used, and the dirt will not come off, all the other plates in the set were pristine. There was an oil sheen on some, that was easily removable with a quick wipe off with Dawn dishwasher soap. Read more

The 4 - 10lb plates do not fit on an olympic size bar, as listed in the item description. All other plates in the set work perfectly, but the 10lb plates do not. The only option is to return the item, which is 100s of pounds of weights for the set. I contacted Amazon to ask if I can just return the 4 - 10lb weights, and they said they said that full return is the only option. He advised to contact seller, and sent me a link with instructions to do so, but unfortunately, there is no "contact seller" option for this particular item.
