Required an insole to fit right. Comfortable and easy to put on. The Amazon description incorrectly termed it as "lace up" , while in fact it conforms to the photo showing a Velcro type closure. I had to ask Rufus what the reality was. Good support while walking. A bit clunky looking, but after all they are shoes tailored for diabetics like me. I donated my other lace-up shoes to a thrift store. They required a shoe horn and an effort to put on. Read more

I'm not diabetic, but I've had some foot injuries that cause most shoes to hurt. These don't hurt. Not sure about the long-term durability, but after wearing them for a few days, my feet weren't in agony. That's a plus. They look nice as casual dress and also don't cost $300+ like some orthopedic shoes do. Good buy if your feet are a problem. Read more
