This is a jacket designed for layering but I found it not to layer very well. My regular size, large, was too snug when attempting to layer with a sweater underneath. I felt like I was swimming in the next size (too large) and it was also much too long—to the point where it interferes with the movement of your legs. Overall, the jacket was also not of the quality I’d expect from Fjallraven and felt more like wearing a rain poncho than a high-end jacket. Read more

Everything about this jacket is excellent, the pockets, the fit, the features, everything! But for a $500 I expect it to already have the DWR coating already on it, but as I found out the hard way, it did not. I got caught in a heavy rainstorm and the jacket was wetting out. I guess I now have to buy the bottle of DWR and apply a coat of it myself. I expected to do this a year or two years from now. Besides this, this jacket has been great. Read more
