This is exactly as described. It has 2 large USBA ports and 2 small USBC ports, and that’s plenty for my day-to-day charging requirements. I like the 6-foot power cord, and the charge speed is top notch. It sits on my desk, compact and cool and does the job. Haven’t had a power surge since installation, so no comment on that. Otherwise, it’s good. PS I may abandon it when all devices are upgraded to USBC, but if so, hopefully I can get something like this again with different ports. Read more

Exactly what I was looking for! We placed bookshelves in our closet to the small bedroom we use as an office. We recently refloored this room & closet, so when putting the shelves back, we decided to put an outlet behind the shelves and put in lighting. We needed the plug to be flat so that the shelves would fit like before. When the outlet is behind furniture such as bed, chest of drawers, desk this brings it out where it can be used. The plug is flat and doesn't stick out to interfere with the furniture and the cord is angled to not interfere with the other outlet in a duplex outlet. On the box there are more outlets (8 110 V & 4 USB) than you probably will use (there is a power limit for the device) on top and sides. The switch is nice to turn everything off and it also is for overload protection. The box has mounting holes on the back while the instructions say it is only for temporary use- seems contradictory. Lights on top show when there is power and proper grounding. Good so far (24 hour use). We'll see if it lasts. Read more
