I love this chair! I have had a lot of teacher chairs to use at my desk over the years (28). This is by the far the best chair that I have had. I always end up sitting either with my legs crossed or sitting on one of my legs. This chair is the best for that. The material is very sturdy. The seams of the chair don't pull away. This thing was incredibly difficult to put together! Wow this took me way too long. The package with the supplies is oddly hard to follow though it looks simple. They call one thing this and then the same thing that. Also, the recline is a joke, it hardly reclines at all and there's no way to keep it where you're reclined. The chair is so stiff that even with my considerable weight, I cannot keep it back in that slightly reclined position, it tends to push me back forward. So in that regard, VERY uncomfortable! I got this chair back when the listing was for a mid back faux leather computer chair with flip-up arms. It's comfortable to sit in, the setup was quick, and I like using it at my desk as a small space chair. Especially since I can push it up against the desk all the way. Since then, the listing has been switched to a different chair. A lot of what people are talking about here, including me, are for the different version which was priced more than a hundred dollars less. Just something to keep in mind if you are basing a decision on the that, because it may not be the same chair anymore. I've been using the one I DID get for more than a month and I like it. In just the few weeks I was testing it, they swapped it, so I can't really comment on the new chair. Maybe it's as good as the one I have. But I'll never know. I'm keeping the review star rating high because the chair I did get was great. And they'll probably try and take it down if it's a lower star. Hopefully people will read all the way and see. Love that this chair is comfortable and can keep the height setting where I want it. The adjusted height helps keep my arm in a more neutral position for long hours at the desk.
