Sitting 8 or more hours a day is hard on your body, especially as you get older. As the ergonomic experts say, "sitting is the new smoking". Hit the button a stand up for a while several times a day. There are a BUNCH of height adjustable desks to choose from, so take your time when shopping to determine which best will work for you. This is a great sturdy height adjustable desk and I am happy that I picked this particular one. The price is reasonable for the features. Pro's: You can program the height you like (and easily change it, as easy as programming a preset on a car radio). Note that some height adjustable desks have a hand crank, just say no to that! Others have a motor and a lever, but with no preset button to lock in your favorite height when standing. Trust me on this, you want a model like this that you can program, then just hit one button to stand, another to sit. This desk is very sturdy The motor which raises or lowers the desk is very quiet The desk looks great. I chose black because most of my computer gear is black, but it is available in many colors. MEAUSURE THE HEIGHT OF YOUR CURRENT KEYBOARD TRAY OR LAPTOP before you buy any desk. The lowest height of this desk 28.8 inches. I am a low rider and I like to adjust my ergo chair lower than most. 28.8 inches is 5 inches too high for me. I got around this by buying a separate adjustable keyboard tray which allows me to have the keyboard up to five inches lower than the desktop. Also, there are not a lot of good ergonomic keyboard trays out there. I bought a HUANUO Keyboard Tray Under Desk Adjustable Ergonomic Sliding Keyboard & Mouse Tray, 25" W x 9.8" D, Black. The only problem is the mounting bracket is 14 inches long, and it sticks out two inches (not a deal breaker). Why? Because most height adjustable desks have a bar that goes across the middle of the bottom of the desk (it's like a differential with a gear mechanism so both legs go up and down in sync). I looked at more than 25 desks and none of them including this one provides enough details or measurements to know if a 14 inch keyboard tray bracket will hit the bar along the bottom of the desk. Con: (still 5 five stars, they gotta fix this misleading claim) The photo on the monitor says 5 minute assembly. Maybe if you had your tools ready, read the instructions, had everything unpacked, then put together 10 of these in a row to practice; then by the time I got to the 10th one, then yes, I could probably assemble the 10th one in 5 minutes. But I took my time and got it done in about 45 minutes. This model does have more components already assembled (like the bar that contains the up/down gear mechanism). But five minutes? This is very misleading and they should remove this claim from the description. How about 5 minutes less assembly time than the competition? Read more

As a computer programmer I spend a lot of hours in front of my computer and it can really get very exhausting to sit for long periods of time. So I started to look for standing desk options few weeks ago since I already had one standing desk at work but after COVID we were asked to work remotely from home and needing a high quality standing desk was a high priority to me. When I found FlexiSpot I was a bit skeptical, I didn't really think a desk priced so low could be so good, trust me when I say that I am very very particular about what I buy and aesthetics, usability, durability, are all a huge factors. After researching for a few weeks I decided to give FlexiSpot a try and after a few weeks of usage I have to say that it is BEAUTIFUL, PRACTICAL, & I CAN NOW STAND UP whenever I want ! I really recommend this standing desk to anyone and putting this desk together was very easy as it includes all the necessary instructions to make that process a breeze. I also liked how easy is to configure different presets, I currently have 2 where my first one is sitting down so I just press #1, and my second up is standing up #2. So if you are looking for a standing desk then get this desk, I love it, and would recommend it to any of my family and friends if they ask me about it. Thanks Read more

Note: I received this desk for free, but all opinions are my own. I've been working from home due to the pandemic, but I've struggled to find an appropriate place to conduct Zoom meetings without weird stuff behind me (yarn shelves, my camera/tripod, a bed, messy kitchen counters). I wanted a desk that could go into an open corner of my office, so I could stand behind it and show nothing but a blank wall. I also wanted flat white so it could double as a plain background for craft flatlays and YouTube tutorials. This Flexispot Standing desk fit the bill! It was easy to assemble and only took about 30 minutes for one person, including taking everything out of the box. The desk didn't require any tools other than the little allen wrench and screwdriver that came in the package. Once assembled, the desk feels pretty sturdy. If I try to shake it, my plant moves, but the desk itself does not. The legs and supports are metal and the top is flat and smooth. I'm using it for my laptop and a notebook, but it could easily fit dual monitors and a keyboard. I love that you can save presets for your preferred heights and was pleased to discover that the presets save even when you unplug the desk. I was worried that the desk wouldn't stay in the extended/standing position if I learned on it, but it's staying in place! Though the desk feels substantial and secure, it's light enough for me to scoot it closer to a window or a wall, depending on what I need it for that day. I would recommend this FlexiSpot standing desk to anyone who's looking for a basic sit/stand desk for their office. Read more
