The best thing about this desk is that it fits on a work space that is not very deep. Our front desk has a walk-up counter on the front that reduces the depth of the work space to just under 18" This unit fit perfectly on the desk and, with the keyboard extension, actually expanded the available space. It adjusts easily and is really very stable. It's not sturdy enough to be leaned on (like during a little chit chat), but as a work platform, it performs very well. The really great thing is that it goes straight up and down, no rising in an arc. It is not just 2 levels as indicated in the headline description. IT can be locked in multiple levels. The only thing that is really a nuisance is the large slot in the upper work surface. It pretty much negates being able to use this area for any kind of writing unless you have something substantial under you paper and don't mind writing over the hump created by the grommet. I wish you could buy it without the slot, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another! It's priced right and was easy to assemble. 98% a winner! Read more

After a year of working from home, I decided to invest in this bad boy. I got the larger, corner version of the desk. Very easy to put together. I installed the dual monitor arms right on the back on this table. I will say it was a little have putting this on my L shaped desk, but that's a good thing. Even with the two monitors, my laptop, keyboard and mouse, it is very easy to lift up to the standing position. This has helped with my posture and helps me be more active while I work. The phone /table holder in the front is clutch too. I can put my phone there and do zoom calls from it if I want. The height is adjustable so you can lock it in multiple positions. Would Def recommend. Read more

I'm a computer analyst and I needed to be able to work but not sit for so long. It was affecting the circulation in my legs as I get older. I looked at fully adjustable desks but they were too expensive. Then I found the Stand Steady FlexPro Hero and decided to give it a shot. The price was in my range and it looked promising. The Stand Steady desk arrived in less than a week and was very simple to get installed on my desk. I have a laptop in a docking station, 24" monitor, keyboard, mouse, external HDD and business phone on the desk and it is still very simple to raise and lower. This is exactly what I was looking for. The desk is very sturdy and appears well built. I expect to have many years of use from the Steady Stand. Read more

I'm very pleased with this purchase. The seller got it to me quickly, and assembly was very straight forward (all you really have to do is attach the keyboard tray). Lifting is very smooth, and putting the desk back down is easy. The desk part is wide enough to fit the bases of my monitors with my work laptop in between them. I'm 5'2, and I can easily adjust the height to my "sweet spot". My Galaxy S21 Ultra fits perfectly in the slot on the desk, even with its case on. Read more

Short version I like it. It does everything I need it to do. Long version: I got this after realizing how my restlessness at work was killing my productivity. I found myself taking walks around the cubicle farm and going up and down the stairs to clear my mind and regain concentration. This happened after changing from a workplace that required me to walk around a factory floor a lot to a workplace that was sitting in front of a computer all day. Compound to that back pain from sitting too much, and you end up with a very unhappy and unproductive day. I bought this desk because I knew that I'd still want to sit occasionally. I also did not want a powered version (too expensive, not a whole lot of benefit). It'd also be usable in my cubicle which has it's own deskspace already that could not be retrofitted. I also liked that it used a scissor mechanism instead of a parallel bar linkage to raise and lower. The benefit of a scissor lift is that the desk moves up and down along the vertical axis, while parallel bar linkage mechanism force the desk to make an arc shape. This arc causes the desk to be closer to you when sitting than it is when you're standing. I'm also a fan of the locking mechanism on this desk. It uses a rack and pinion along the top surface to lock the desk in place. When the locking handle is pulled, a pin will allow the pinion to move along the rack, which means the desk can move up and down. When the handle is released, the pin locks the pinion in place, locking the desk in place. With this, the desk can be moved in discrete increments of about 1-2 inches. There is also an air spring that assists in lifting the desk and cushions lowering the desk. Assembly was a snap. First, I had to unpack the box and remove the protective padding. There's quite a lot of it, so I doubt there'd be any shipping damage. Next, I removed the strap holding the lifting mechanism in place. This caused the desk to rise a little because of the aforementioned air spring. This rise went away after the desk was loaded. Next, I screwed the keyboard tray in place, and attached the included cushioned pads to the bottom of the tray so that the tray does not bang against the desk. Only 3 out of the 4 screws were able to be screwed in all the way because of alignment issues. Also, the included screw driver was a flat head while the screws were phillips! Finally, I added some plastic inserts for the tablet/phone rest. Setting up the desk after this was also trivial. It is like setting up any desk, but care has to be made such that there is slack in the wires for vertical movement. The wires also have to be routed using included clips so that the wires don't get crushed when the desk is lowered. I've been using the desk for about a week. I keep it raised most of the time, because I sit during meetings. However, I do appreciate the option to lower the desk. The desk has proven itself to be sturdy, and I think it can hold more than the 35lbs limit. The desk has done well to address my concentration and back needs. Now I need to get an anti-fatigue mat for my feet, and I'll be set. My only gripe about the desk is the tablet/phone rest. In addition to putting my laptop and monitor on my desk, I also like to write on it, both on loose pieces of paper and on a notebook. In both cases, the tablet/phone rest gets in the way of my writing. I hope it is removed in future versions! Read more
