Given the small size of this product, which was one of the reasons i purchased it, I was skeptical of it's performance. When it arrived, I used it to inflate a camp mattress, which was the primary purpose I purchased the product for. The mattress was a Thermarest and I was happy to see that one of the several adapters fit the mattress valve perfectly. It inflated the mattress quickly and with plenty of pressure. When I went to deflate the mattress, I used the Flextail pump, and was initially disappointed, but realized it was because the pump was strong enough to pull the material on the back of the mattress into the valve, and block the air flow. As long as I rolled the mattress and pushed the air toward the valve, and forced the material apart, the pump worked great at deflating as well. I look forward to using it on many camping trips. This pump is awesome. Small and comes with all the adapters I need. I've taken it on a couple trips and the battery does really well. My girlfriend likes using it as a little bellow for the fire and will just let it run on end. I came home to charge it and it only took 10m to charge thats how much battery was left. I've not tested the actual capacity but I pumped up two sleeping pads for a night, topped them off the 2nd night and let her use it as a bellow for quite some time just to come home and have it be almost fill charge still says something. This pump works really well for inflating air mattresses and pool toys quickly. The 500L per minute spec is accurate and it fills a queen mattress in about 3 minutes. The camping light feature is useful if you're setting up camp in low light. Battery life lasts through multiple inflatables on one charge. The main downside is it's pretty loud which matters when you're camping and trying not to disturb others at nearby sites. If you're at a beach or home setting the noise doesn't matter. The hose connections are solid and don't leak. Price is reasonable for the power output. I wish there was a quieter mode option even if it took longer since the noise volume is genuinely disruptive in quiet camping environments. Read more

This little pump impressed me right away. It’s lightweight, super portable, and fills (and deflates) an air mattress with ease. The battery seems to last forever when using it as a pump, and as a bonus, it even works great for blowing on coals to get a fire going. But the built-in light? That’s another story. After leaving it on for only about 30 minutes, the light got so hot it was almost too hot to touch. On top of that, the battery drained in under an hour—way faster than when using the pump. It’s strange because you’d expect the pump to be the power-hungry part, but it’s the light that kills the battery. So, as a pump: fantastic.
