Not quite terrycloth more fleece feeling. There’s also a couple spots where there’s a clear poky thread sticking/scratching me. The padding is thick but seems to be placed on top rather than seated and stitched into the sandal. I love these! I read the reviews before I bought these, so I was aware that a common complaint was the width of them....which is WHY i chose them in the end. I have wide feet, so I was hopeful, and very satisfied with them. They are very comfy. I'm also pretty particular with slippers. I cant' stand anything too thick or hard to walk in. I wanted house slippers that let my foot get some air since it is summer but were also soft. These were just what I needed. I wear a 10 and got the 9-10. They fit just fine. I appreciate the flip flop style because my feet won’t sweat in these. I also like that they have a hard sole so I’m not slipping around in the house on my hardwood floors. Ordered size 7-8 got a large??? If you put your toes where they should go around the divider your toes hang off and you have about an inch of space at the heal but you toe doesnt stay there as for your foot to fit the shoes it pushes your foot back and the divider sits at the half way point between your toes also not anti skid would return but not worth the trouble will give to my granddaughter who has skinner foot hopefully will fit her better...beware if you have even slightly wide feet do not buy Read more
