This item can't quite decide what it is! It's blouse-weight fabric but is cut and styled like a jacket. It's definitely designed to be worn OVER another top, but isn't heavy enough to call a Blazer. There are lots of times I need something light on my arms in the summer (cool air conditioning, or evenings, for example) and this is the niche this item fills. It does have shoulder pads - I haven't quite decided whether to remove them or not - but it fits me nicely. [Amazon's "recommended size" was an X-Large but I'm glad I ignored that advice and went with my usual size of Large.] I also love that it's washable - I washed it on cool, hung to dry and it was ready to wear, no wrinkles! This sucker is....bright! 😎 And it's like a plus sized blazer. The bad thing is, it's super lightweight, which doesn't HAVE to be bad, but in this case, it doesn't seem to hang correctly. The colors are mind boggling but my daughter loves it. So she gets it. Bottom line: I'd recommend it to people who like the crazy design, like my daughter did. Just keep in mind it's fairly lightweight. If you keep that in mind I'd tell you to go for it...or get it for a loved one for Christmas. Read more
