Good sturdy mats, great value for the money about 75% savings over OEM mats from GMC. Good looking and very easy to install. The drivers mat snaps in place and locks in tight ensuring mat won’t ride up under the gas pedal which makes it very safe. The other mats also were easy to install and we also loved the snap in hard plastic inserts to allow access to the connectors for child restraint car seats! Also loved the velcro used to attach the cargo area mats to the back of the second row seats…made a very solid and professional looking installation. Also the accordion fold in the cargo mat for raising and lowering the back seats with the cargo mat attached and finally a tab to help lift the cargo mat for access to spare tire and storage without removing the mat. One other thing the mats also came with some plastic strips with adhesive on the back that looks like some sort of cover. Tough and great, handles all of our dirty feet when getting in our SUV. Looks great and provides floor coverage. These just arrived this morning. Took me about an hour to install because I was vacuuming the car, taking pictures and gabbing with a neighbor :D. Packaging was fine and as mentioned in the description, there was a slight bit of deformation from being folded. It was very minor. I laid the large cargo area cover flat on the driveway and proceeded to do the other pieces. I did passenger side front first. It almost snapped into place. The fit is that good. Driver side next and there was a minor gap next to the center console. I applied pressure as it showed in the instructions and the gap disappeared. I pressed it onto the posts and proceeded to the rear floor mat. A little pressure in the center and it fit perfectly. On to the cargo area. This is a big piece that's a bit more awkward to maneuver. It has velcro that REALLY wants to stick to your carpeting as soon as it touches. What I found easiest was to fold it such that I could lay the rearmost section in place with the rest kind of hanging out over the bumper. Get that section positioned as perfectly as you can and then you sort of roll/flop the next section into place. You may have to lift and reposition that section as it will want to stick wherever the velcro touches. With that in place you do the seat backs. I struggled at first and then found that it was easier to get the TOPS of these positioned first. The edge closest to your headrests. With the top edge stuck slide your arm between the mat and the seat back and sort of "squeegie" it from the top to where it will bend when you put the seats upright. Prepare the snap in pieces that go into the safety latch openings. You either press hard or give them a good hard smack with a flat hand. They're tight. Then I crawled in the back and pulled the seats upright slowly while tucking a sort of rippled section of the mat that's made to fold, into the gap between the seat backs and cargo floor. Just as the instructions said to do. These appear to be of really good quality. I've used weather tech and husky liners in the past and these are softer like the husky liners, though maybe not as thick. I thought the weather tech liners are way too stiff. And these are a great value. I did the elastic cords differently than the instructions. I fed them forward, between the headrest supports, looped them over the headrest, then grabbed the little button lock and pulled it back through the middle and tightened it. We just bought a 2026 Chevy Equinox 4 days ago. So, I bought these floor mats, cargo liner and door sill guards and installed them today. I'm amazed at how perfectly they fit, as though they were made specifically for my car. The driver's side factory-installed floor mat was easy to remove (I reached under the mat with one hand, pressed down on the center of the "button" on top of the mat, pulled up on the mat and it came right off) and the new liner snapped right into place. The cargo mat was easy to install, after watching the video. It's made of a flexible yet firm rubber (I guess it's rubber) - not a molded, stiff plastic. It did have a fold in it, but I have no doubt that it will flatten out in a few days. To install the cargo mat we put the back seats forward and flat, placed the cargo liner in place, looped the adjustable loops over each headrest and tightened them. Hubby use a rubber mallet (because we had one) to put the 3 "frames" over the existing 'holes' in seat backs and just pounded them in place. We put the seatbacks upright again. I don't believe that the rippled fold between the backs and the flat cargo piece is supposed to tuck in, as someone else suggested (although we tried.) The ripples kind of fold on top of each other. I think they're supposed to do that, sort of like an accordion. Easy peazy. The sill guards were also easily installed (after watching video to understand what they even were!). We're thrilled with these mats! Definitely recommend. And the price was so reasonable compared to other mats (especially ones from the dealership.) I'm just very happy with these! Read more
I've been using the name brand liners for over 20 years but when I checked for my 2026 equinox I found the complete set over $350 so I looked for alternatives. I found these and the reviews looked good and for $129 I gave them a try. They fit perfectly and the cargo liner is one piece up the seat backs also.
