My daughters love this (and so do I)
It feels really special, probably because the box is so beautiful and is a big part of the play. The wizard can lose his stack of books and have to look all around until he finds it, The sleeping dragon can be hiding the magic potions etc. I have found that some kids are into playing with flat wooden characters in some kids aren't. My older kid isn't as into it, so I would have to do voices and play with her when she played with it, but my younger daughter plays with it by herself. This is a toy that I don't really mind engaging with, because I find it easy to create interesting little stories about the wizard and his dragon friends. It's held up to occasional play for about 3 or 4 years. Read more
