These threaders work very well to get floss through my permanent retainer. I was having trouble getting plaque out of my front bottom teeth and my dentist recommended I use a threader. My son had to get an expander and a few bands of braces on his top teeth. His teeth are tightly spaced so some of them were already hard to floss. The dentist used one of these at his 6 month cleaning to get the floss under the bands of the braces to floss those teeth. It looked so much easier so I immediately ordered some from Amazon. I tried using one last night when I helped him floss and I'm so glad I got these. It was so much easier to get under the gumline and work around the bands. My son is younger so I have to floss the teeth with the bands until he figures out how to do it without poking himself in the gums while he threads the floss in with these. Read more

I bought these so that I could use regular floss around the permanent retainer on my front lower teeth. They do work well, especially between teeth with a little more space. I’m able to get them between all the gaps (some struggle not catching on the gums with teeth closer together). The stem part could honestly be a little shorter so it doesn’t stick so far back into the mouth, but otherwise these work great. Read more

I am currently going through orthodontics. Trying to floss thread through metal is nearly impossible. Luckily, I ordered these flossers, and it makes it so much easier. You just thread the floss through the loop, and then you can use the threader to thread the floss through the metal. Read more
