Worked just like grandmas flour sifty tool. Not my scones. Those sucked.

michael sennDecember 19, 2025

I bought this for a scone recipe, I love scones. I can’t bake. I can’t bake at all. I was craving scones for like a month. I bought the ingredients and then realized I needed to “sift” the flour. So I remember my grandma having one of these. She was a mean German lady who baked so many things. Anyway, as mentioned, I wanted some scones, bad! I bought this. It sifted through the flour like a boss. My scones were basically not yummy nor edible, the deer did like them, but I think it’s because I suck at baking and not because of the siftage of the flour which was as smooth as flour could be. Must have for bakers

Barbara MDecember 14, 2024

The media could not be loaded. This Toresano Flour Sifter is a game-changer in my baking routine! The 3-cup capacity is just the right size for sifting flour, sugar, and even spices without making a mess. The stainless steel construction feels sturdy and durable, and the rotary hand crank works smoothly with minimal effort. I love the loop agitator—it ensures the flour flows evenly and quickly, making my baked goods lighter and fluffier. It’s also super easy to clean, which is a big plus. Whether I’m baking cakes, cookies, or sifting powdered sugar for decoration, this sifter gets the job done perfectly. Highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys baking—it’s practical, efficient, and a great value! Read more

Decent sifter, but flimsy

Kay K.September 25, 2023

Here’s a quick pros and cons list before I get into the full review: PROS: - Sifts flour well - Comfortable to hold - The handle makes sifting a bit easier (no need to keep tapping the sides of the sifter, just have to turn the handle) - Easy to clean CONS: - Handle is flimsy- I don’t fully trust it to not break - Can’t add too much flour at a time or it will spill out of the handle holes on the sides of the sifter - The turning whisk portion inside the cup sometimes gets stuck, causing flour to go flying out - Handle doesn’t turn smoothly and it makes a scratchy noise against the mesh when sifting I bought this sifter to use with flour that I grind myself, and so far it does a good job at ensuring that none of the larger pieces of wheat berries end up in the bowl. However, I have discovered a few issues that make it a bit more difficult to use than I was expecting. Firstly, if the cup is filled up to the handle portion, flour will actually spill out of the holes on the side where the handles are attached as the handle is being turned. Secondly, the handle itself feels very flimsy- I didn’t trust it to not break when I was turning it normally, so instead I ended up turning it as close to the cup as I could. Lastly, the biggest issue I encountered was that because the handle doesn’t turn smoothly, sometimes the whisk portion gets stuck when being turned and it causes the flour in the cup to go flying out, making a mess. The way I have found to prevent this is to only add a small amount of flour at a time instead of filling it up like I originally tried to do. This is a bit more time consuming, but it’s the only way I have found that (usually) prevents the flour from flying out and prevents it from spilling out of the handle holes. Overall, I think this sifter sifts just fine, but it has a few flaws that make the process a little bit trickier than I was expecting. If you’re someone who is okay with the flimsy handle and the thought of the occasional mess that may result from this sifter, then this sifter would work just fine for you. Read more
