Fluidmaster B1T12 Toilet Connector Braided Stainless Steel - 3 8 Female Compression Thread x 7 8 Female Ballcock

I recently picked up this Fluidmaster connector to install a bidet in my apartment bathroom, and it worked exactly as I needed it to. The 12-inch length was just right for my setup, giving me enough reach without excess tubing hanging around. The braided stainless steel feels sturdy and well-made, much more durable than the cheaper plastic options I considered. Installation was straightforward with the 3/8 female compression thread on one end and the 7/8 female ballcock thread on the other, both connections tightened up securely without any leaks. I did need to make sure I had the right wrench size handy, but once I had that, everything went smoothly. The only minor downside is that the steel braiding makes it a bit less flexible than a regular hose, so positioning took a little extra effort in my tight bathroom space. ordered this as a replacement for a connector that failed. learned how important a good quality part is. i heard the connector fail and got to it in maybe a minute or less. if one of these fails it can flood a room REALLY fast. this part was available for expedited shipping so i got it. the quality is very good and it came with clear instructions, although the installation is self-explanatory. even for a noob like me. threaded on and sealed well. rock solid. recommend it. was pleasantly surprised with the quality for the price and the convenience. no need to go to HD for one little thing. I would have given it a five if they had updated their picture to show nuts on both ends. I wasted a lot of time trying to figure out if it would work for me before ordering. Fortunately, other users asked the same question and ultimately got an answer that that there were. (The picture only shows a nut on one end.) I used this to replace the solid tubing when I installed the LUXE Bidet. Other than an initial leak at one end that was corrected by slight additional tightening, it's working fine.
