super easy to install outside of tank, seems accurate, provides unobtrusive view
Easy to use, seemingly accurate, cheap. Perfect. I have it attached to the outside corner of my small five gallon tank. The room my tank is kept in tends to be cold, and with the winter season upon us, I wanted to make sure I had an idea of warm/cold my tank is. I bought a heater and this thermometer. I almost purchased one that gets attached inside, but real estate inside this tiny tank is limited. This is perfect. This thermometer is unobtrusive- I don't focus in on it when looking at my tank. It simply attached to outside of tank, so no hassle in getting it set up. Shows a temperature range that appears to be accurate. Between this and the heater I added, my guppies seem much happier. Small product, easily hidden
I think these strips are good except they need to be put on a tank at eye level because they don't glow strong enough and are not that easy to read unless right on top of it. I have 4 if these and they all are accurate and match the 2nd thermometer readings I have. They are non obtrusive though which I really like. Read more
Works Well
Despite its unassuming size and it's simplicity it works extremely well. I have had them stuck on the side of almost every aquarium I have owned. I use them as a backup and a secondary thermometer for a quick comparison between it and my more accurate thermometer to make sure they agree and there are no discrepancies between the two. I have had them work for over ten years and outlast the aquarium. Word of advice, make absolutely sure you place it where you want it because once it's on the only way it's coming off is with destructive force. It can come off but you will break it in the process. Overall I would highly recommend this for every aquarists for every aquarium you own. Read more

Easy to read and even works on curved bowl.
It was inexpensive and confirms that I should get a heater for my Betta. I was most surprised by the ease it is to read, and that it worked extremely well on the curve of our fish bowl. I included a picture that really doesn't do it justice. It is easier to read even the picture shows. I would not hesitate to recommend this item to anyone. And, I would definitely buy again.
