This review is for the straight leg version of these pants. I have a 33" waist and 29" inseam, and originally bought these pants in Medium, which ended up being a little too baggy. Small turned out to be a better fit, and I preferred the straight leg to the elastic leg, which was a little tight around my ankles. (I like the straight leg because it has more of a "pajama pants" look than a conventional sweatpants look.) First the positives: the 02 Grey color is exactly what I was hoping for, darker than it appears in the listing, but a little lighter than black. The pants are good in the little details: the pocket zippers are high quality metal, and unlike my previous pair of sweatpants they have a smooth finish so they don't irritate my hands when I stick them in the pockets. The back pocket is too small to securely accommodate a wallet, but is deep enough to work if you need to temporarily stash a store receipt or something. The drawstring is the same color as the pants, with strong metallic aglets at the end that are sheathed in a rubbery coating, and gives the pants a "classier" look than your typical sweatpants. (As classy as sweatpants are ever going to look, at any rate.) The overall quality seems pretty solid, with no visible defects or loose threads. The sherpa fleece lining is identical to the photos, and provide a decent level of warmth. I wouldn't expect to stay warm in these in sub-zero temps, but I've been walking my dog in 20-30 degree weather and my legs don't get cold. The only significant issue I've experienced with these pants is sizing. My first Small pair fit great, so I ordered a second pair. The second pair clearly looked larger than the first, and although they came with a Small tag and didn't appear to have been opened/used (they ship in a vacuum-shrink-sealed plastic bag), they were obviously Medium. I exchanged them for another Small, and while these are definitely the correct size, they're significantly smaller and tighter fitting than my original Small pair. (See photo.) Getting a pair that fits just right appears to be a bit of a crap shoot, so if the pants you order are too big or small, you may want to try exchanging for another pair in the same size. My boyfriend loves these sweats! Very thick, soft, warm lining. We have an old pier and beam house with no central heat, so the feet and legs get cold during winter. I wanted to get him something to keep his legs warm - and these deliver!! The ONLY complaint (if you can call it that), is that, because they are so thick, they take up alot of drawer space when folded. But that's a trade-off I'm willing to live with because they're so soft and warm. Read more

Great pants. 3 pockets. Front pockets are zippered. Has a closed leg design. (Bottom of leg has elastic rim so it closes around the ankle). I'm 5'9 1/2", 167 lbs. XL was bigger than I wanted. Will reorder same pants in size large. Read more
