This jacket came in CLUTCH during my cold winter trip to Denver Colorado AND the winter storm that hit Texas recently. This jacket is solid warmth! Denver was in the low 7° and high 12° & windy - nothing got through this jacket! I was SO warm. I did wear a scarf and beanie for my neck and ears because this doesn’t have a hood. But, for warmth and winter necessity- this is it! When we returned from Denver, Texas had ice and winter storm with 17° and 20mph winds… again, jacket was solid! oh yeah, this did the trick for really cold New York City days. I had analysis paralysis with all the jackets to choose from and with the cold weather coming, I had to pull the trigger. I didn’t expect much for under 40.. but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and fit. I’m 5’4” weigh 165-170 and the fit was perfect. Negatives were pocket zippers were tough to close, sometimes stuck. The jacket was sort of shrink wrapped with lots of wrinkles even after 2 days of hanging.
