I got these for my wife because she liked that they looked like comfy lounge pants and that the blue plaid evoked thoughts of Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz so they could double as a costume piece. Unfortunately, the pants that arrived are just overall not very flattering. The material is a stiff, unlined cotton that hangs onto creases and doesn’t really have any “flow” to it. The waist is a forgiving elastic band, but the cut doesn’t seem right. The size small fit my wife (5’6”, ~125 lbs) with room to spare in the waist and rear area. For the crotch line and pockets to sit at a reasonable place and not be sagging, she needed to pull the waistband all the way up to her natural waist, which in itself isn’t always a flattering look. Unfortunately, even with the waist pulled down, the length of the pants land somewhere between highwater and capri and simply look too short. Sizing up may have helped with the length, but then the problems with the waist and fit around her bottom would have been increased as well. A couple other negatives to note is that they are hand wash only and the material is see-through. At best, she may still modify these to use for a costume piece, but certainly not for everyday wear. Very pretty pattern and blue/white color combination however the fabric is a little thin and wrinkly. The wrinkles come out easily with a steamer, however, the fabric being thin means having to wear undergarments that are more discreet or possibly even double layer. This adds some inconvenience which is why I rated this item 4 stars. The pants are without a doubt a very cottagecore adorable look. Read more
