Overall it works as advertised. My issues was I didnt feel it got hot enough or stayed hot enough for me. the mask its self is comfortable but the band on my big head was not, I couldnt seem to find a comfortable place where it didnt feel like it was digging in after just a few minutes. The mask part fit fine but again, if you have a big head, the strap may bother you. The weight, you dont even really notice it. It feels like pretty much any standard mask. Overall, a longer strap and a little better heat retention and it would be perfect. Read more

This unit allows using heat with two levels or a special cold pack insert kept in your freezer that slips into the zippered top carrier for a cold compress. The material eye pack sleeve is thick enough to not make the cold compress too cold. The operation is straightforward and easy. The heat settings are activated and changed by pushing the logo button on the front. Each of the two heat setting has a different LED color RED for High Green for Low and to turn off you long press the button —-no color. The band is easily adjustable and the material / assembly fits well on my face. The heat system will shut the unit down automatically after 15 minutes as a safety feature. The unit ships with a cord but no power adapter (like most devices these days). When charging the unit connector is on top of the button and turns red when charging green once charged. It will not function while charging you need to keep it charged up. Well made with quality materials. Decent instructions and has a one year warranty. Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I found this to be comfortable and made well but over priced for what it is. If you think this has the capability of cooling, it does not. It is basically an eye mask with a slot to put in an ice pack. That feature is convenient but it isn't that innovative to make the price of this go up so drastically. Read more

Never got a response from the company. I have two of these and according to the instruction these do not work properly. They continuously blink red when plugged in. It is hard to know if they ever charge. I am using only a 5v charger and the cord that came with them. No response from the company. Poorly made. Will have to check out another company. Read more

TLDR: I was really disappointed by this heating mask and consider it to be a waste of time for dry eye therapy. If you want something that’s just relaxing and that’s it, it may work for you if your eyes and ears are spaced differently than mine. I’ve been using Tranquileyes daily for many years now for dry eyes, and it’s an important part of my dry eye treatment routine (eye drops, medicated eye drops, sleep mask, daily moist heat, and wind blocking glasses when outside). I was hoping this would be a great replacement where I could just charge it up to reuse it vs boiling heat packs on a regular basis like with Tranquileyes. I used the mask at the higher heat setting, and it’s way, way too cool to be effective. The mask is comprised of a removable heating pad that sits inside a holder. The holder kept the heating pad too far from my eyes, but even pressing the mask against my eyes didn’t help bring the heat up to a therapeutic level. I took the heating pad out of the holder and tried it directly on my eyes to see how it felt. It’s better, but still not hot enough and who wants to hold something up to their eyes for 10 minutes? Also the company calling it a “heating pad” is really a misnomer as it’s really fabric shaped like the mask that contains two very small heating circles (the name implies to me that the whole thing heats up). The circles are the size of eyeballs, so you have to get them exactly over your eyes to get any benefit. Which means the distance between your eyes has to match the distance between the circles, or you’re only heating part of your eyes. I have a petite face and small nose bridge, and thus eyes that are closer together than average, so I had to pinch the nose of the heating pad together to get the heat circles over my eyes correctly. Also, I think this kind of dry heat isn’t nearly as comforting as the moist heat I can get with Tranquileyes. And to top it all off, the band was really uncomfortable. It dug into my ears on both sides, but the left was particularly bad because the ring the adjustable band slides through hit exactly at the front of the helix of my ear and cause my ear to bend out. I tried pulling the band up off my ears, but I had to have it positioned close to the crown of my head to prevent it from falling down. Read more

This sleep mask feels so good on my dry eyes and helps with headaches too! It's easy to heat or cool and stays comfortable while I rest or nap. I love using it before bed to help me relax and it feels like a small self-care moment at the end of the day! Read more

I like that this heated eye mask is portable and rechargeable, and it's more comfortable than a my prior rechargeable eye mask. The material is soft and solidly built. The button built into the mask does not press into your forehead like others do. It's simple to recharge and just as simple to use. One button long press to turn on/off, and then a quick press to cycle between low heat and high heat. The heat levels are strong and heat quickly, which is nice. However, the way the mask is designed, the heat is not evenly spread/distributed throughout the mask. Rather, there are "hot spots", which is not ideal and really is my only issue with this mask. The cold functionality is really just a matter of chilling the included cold gel pack and putting it in the mask without turning the mask on, so it's nothing really special, but nice to have if you want some cold relief.
