Arrived and was pleasantly surprised. Previously I used an inflatable mattress that was thick, but my back killed after the first day using thick inflatable mattresses no matter how firm I tried to inflate it. I then bought another thinner but firm inflatable mattress (about 4" thick) and it stopped holding air after the 3rd use. Being done with inflatables, I decided time for foam knowing they take more room in storage. I wanted a 3" thick firm mattress that was 80" in length (as I'm tall) and 30" wide that didn't have 1" of the 3" being memory foam (which doesn't add much to firmness) and not expensive as I will use it about 2-3 weeks a year. Not easy to find, and being a side sleeper the last thing I want is to have my hips bottom out on the ground and feel bruised by morning (happened with the air mattresses). What I got measured EXACTLY 3" thick, white like pic, firm, 80.5" long, and for width varied between 30.5" wide and 30" (seems cut by hand on 1 side which explains slight variation in width). They didn't cheap on the size, and the quality of the material was excellent it was flawless with no smell. I've used this for 3 day trips so far, and my hips never felt bruised nor had back pain in the morning like inflatables so I feel has been a total win. Since I take this to use in a tent I wanted a cover that this slides into to protect all sides (like a pillow case) that's not open in the back, and water/dirt resistant. I found the covers are hard to find and expensive so I just bought a 72" x 96" shower curtain on sale that was brown (fabric not plastic, not polyester since polyester is hot) and that was the perfect size plus a shower curtain is water/dirt resistant and washable all for $19. The shower curtain even had reinforced slots intended for shower rings that I used for buttons to keep the cover closed. Made the cover myself easily with no sewing experience. Ended up being a product well worth the money. Read more

6"x24"x72" Gel Memory Foam RV mattress w/ water resistant cover. Using to "budget build" berth in fore of cargo trailer. Took delivery an hour ago and tested on bedroom floor. I'm not in textiles, so I was as overwhelmed deciphering the cyber "menu" of these products. Spoke with owner Kamy who simplified the selection process and recommended minimum thickness per body weight. Very efficient shipping. Packaged arrived quickly and ahead of schedule via FedEx ground. Well-boxed, well-sealed, nice reusable white cardboard carton with removable lid that can be extended or contracted. Label and invoice 100% covered in clear tape on lid and did not need to be cut or peeled to open. Mattress already installed in cover; together, rolled compressed in self-adhering film. No straps, no paperwork, no extras, no waste. Grabbed the end, rolled it out, POOF!, set the plastic film aside, 100% ready to go out of the box, no prep, no cleanup. ABSOLUTELY NO SMELL OF ANY KIND!!! I can't believe it, and am SO happy! My nose is renownedly hyper-sensitive, yet this is one of the few products of any kind I've ever bought that I can say has NO SMELL. 100% recommend for that alone. Mattress and cover are 100% as described. Cover is tailored, with a flat 3 side zip on bottom. Pulled back cover, examined and measured, it's all there. Feels great! I'm male, 40s, 5'11", 190 lbs had one shoulder and both hips reconstructed, and I'm fully supported and comfortable. Owner Kamy's description and recommendation was right on. I'm humbled by the old pro. Like anyone who's been in a niche industry for decades, he boiled down 40 hours of my research into a single sentence, and then added that "one more thing" that makes all the difference that I'd've never thought to ask. My only regret is that I don't have a bigger budget to go more luxurious. Read more

I ordered this mattress to replace the bear mattresses that came in our RV bunk. My 6 year old daughter sleeps in it every night and loves this new mattress. She seems to sleep better and says it’s much more comfortable than the old ones. It was pretty ease to replace the old on with this one. She has been sleeping in it for almost a year and there are no signs of sinking. Read more

Worked great in my RV bunk as an additional layer on top of the factory mattress. Was actually able to rest comfortably for several nights and the fit was great! Dimensions were spot on. Read more

This item, which I returned, was not a “Mattress Topper” per se, which I subsequently purchased. It would probably be suitable for a camper dinette replacement seat pad. For sleeping on an upholstered Thor CamperVan mattress, it was actually more firm than the sofa/ bed conversion mattress and provided no additional comfort. It was graciously accepted for return.
