I loved the look.. didn’t mind the “cheap sole “ people were saying . But , I could not get my foot in them . There is no zipper for the sides . So, you will just have to wish your foot in there . First off I want to say these boots are extremely cute in person, I love the look and style of them. But there was a strong, almost chemical smell right upon opening them. I left them to air out and it's mostly gone but I can still kind of smell it. The soles are foam, they feel like one sharp rock or nail would split ruin them, although I do appreciate it has an attempt at grips on the bottom to try and prevent you from sliding but it still feels very slick to the touch. And even though the listing doesn't say whether they are or not, I took a chance and they are definitely not friendly to anyone who has even the slightest thickness in the calves. I even sized up but since they don't unzip all the way up, and even when you unzip there's a solid boot behind, there wasn't a chance of me being able to get them on. They also are not mid-calf as when I measured it against my leg where my foot would sit on the sole they went up to my knee and even has a full curve for the entire calf on the back. Read more
