First Impressions and Instructions I like that the box includes clear instructions on how to use the stand, which made setup straightforward. One thing that is a bit unintuitive at first is how much force is required to open and close it when it is new. For a moment I thought something was wrong, but it turns out you just need to press firmly. Build Quality and Finish The finish looks nice and the stand feels solid. There are rubber pads both where the laptop rests and where the stand contacts the table. This helps prevent scratches on the laptop and on the desk surface. Stability and Weight Support The stand appears to support the advertised 4 kilogram weight limit. I tested it with a 16 inch MacBook Pro and a heavier gaming laptop, and both were held securely. I cannot speak to long term wear yet, but it performs well in normal use so far. Adjustability The dual hinge design is a strong point. One hinge adjusts the height, and the other adjusts the viewing angle. Both provide enough range to find a comfortable position and hold their place once set. Portability It folds down into a flat, compact shape and is not very heavy, which makes it easy to store or carry when needed. Overall A nicely finished, adjustable laptop stand that is easy to transport and works as advertised, all at a good price. Read more

The LRLKXF foldable laptop stand is a lightweight, compact folding and sturdy stand for your laptop and tablet needs. The stand is made from durable aluminum in a natural finish and includes nonslip pads both on the bottom of the stand and the tray section where your laptop or tablet sit. The convenient stopper tabs keep your device from sliding off the stand. The sections where the stand pivots are stiff to keep your device from moving from the position you set it at. The stand comes completely assembled and is a very good value for the money. I don’t anticipate ever having to replace the stand because of the build quality and it’s compact folded size means it will travel anywhere I go. Read more

I already own two other laptop stands. One is a heavier model that stays in my home office. It is very sturdy but not packable and has a limited range of motion. The other is lightweight, foldable, and easy to travel with, whether for a quick meeting or a long trip abroad, but it lacks stability. This stand is the Goldilocks of the three, striking an excellent balance between weight and sturdiness. Where it really shines is adjustability. Thanks to its two swivels, it offers a wide range of height and angle options, making it easy to dial in a comfortable setup. It is ideal for longer trips away from home since it folds up neatly, packs easily, and sets up quickly for weeklong or extended remote work. The stand comes fully assembled and could not be easier to fold and unfold. On my scale, it weighs about 1.3 lb, which feels very reasonable given how solid and stable it is. Had I purchased this stand first, it likely would have been the only one I needed because it works equally well at home or on the go. Read more

This laptop stand is fantastic! The movable hinges take a lot of effort to move into the right spot, which may seem like a downside at first, but it makes sure that there's no way the angle of this thing is going to budge without some effort when you get it positioned exactly where you want it. The base is narrow enough that it fits on my desk riser perfectly, but wide enough that it's very stable. It is very solidly made with good, polished construction, and the aluminum looks very sleek and stylish. There is a good weight to this that makes me feel like it will hold up for a very long time. Out of the box, this looks nice, seems sturdy, and feels well made. In using it, it becomes obvious that it has limitations on angles and height. When I ordered it, I didn't realize that the arm angles back rather than forward. That may sound like a small thing, but it's what limits the range of motion and creates more of a tipping factor. I can get the bottom of the screen about 5.5" off the desk with the bottom of the keyboard touching the desk, which allows be to type without an external keyboard. The max the bottom of the screen will go will go it around 7.5", and that requires an external keyboard because typing on the laptop would be awkward, and the stand isn't stable enough to support it. It's functional, but I wouldn't recommend it to a friend, so I won't recommend it to you. I have one I use for work that has the arm angled forward, and this creates stability while allowing me to get the bottom of my screen 10" off the desk putting it at eye level with my external monitor. This foldable laptop stand makes working on my Chromebook so much easier. Having the screen elevated and set at an angle is perfect for both comfort and visibility. I move it around frequently—it usually lives in the kitchen for following recipes or watching a show while I’m cooking, and then it goes back to my desk so my pup can watch cartoons while I work. The stand is sturdy, lightweight, and incredibly practical. I honestly wish I had thought of using something like this years ago—hindsight, right? Read more
