it’s compact and when it comes it’s a backpack, very convenience for unexpected day hikes.
I recently bought the vanaheim backpack. It is surprisingly well made and feature loaded, especially for the price. The more I study it the more I find. I got it as a backup to leave in the car in case I need a backpack on the road. It is that but much more. It has water bottle baskets and cinch cords for an umbrella or other such things. The bag it comes in becomes a secure pouch that opens towards your back when worn. There is another pouch that is separate from the main pack and it opens to the outside. It is surprisingly large and would hold a light jacket or lunch. The main bag is reinforced and stout enough to hold up to being stuffed tight. The zippers seem light but work smoothly and easily. Overall I think I'll be very happy with this compact backpack. Especially for the price. It’s a good pack to have in your car when you need it, it’s compact and when it comes it’s a backpack, very convenience for unexpected day hikes. Read more

A lot of complaints on quality in the reviews. It literally says lightweight. You are not using this as a hiking backpack. Works great for us to store and carry our belongings we need for extracurricular activities for our after school activities. Lightweight material for sure, no zipper issues.
