First of all, I love the amber glow from the bulb. It's nice, warm and comfortable light from this bulb. It really added a sparkle to that old lamp. Although I'd say the bulbs are more of an art deco style. Being LED's they should last almost forever. My lamp needed 2 new bulbs, and this bulb did the trick. Pretty, don’t you think? I ordered my first one which sadly didn’t work in two lamps I tried. But liking the look, instead of a requesting a refund, I did an exchange, and the second one turned on. As you can see by my photo, it’s attractive, at least I think so. I have it in a small corner near a sink where a shade won’t fit. The bulb is actually quite big too, about 4 inches across, but it is just the right size for the area. The light is not very bright, but is good enough for my purposes. I wouldn’t be comfortable reading a book using it, but my planner is there and I can see to read and write small things even with my old eyes. I forget if it’s dimmable, but since it’s in an antique lamp with an Amazon plug, it won’t dim or brighten anyway. I’ve only had it a few days so I can’t attest to its longevity. Some of the reviews state it doesn’t last long and I hope that’s not the case for me. I’m tempted to get a spare because it matches my lamp and area perfectly but this type of bulb should last a while, so if I have to replace it too soon after the first one not working at all, I’ll likely find something else, although I’ll be sad; this was one of the nicest I saw. It’s heavy for a bulb and looks like golden cut glass. The very bottom of the bulb is not colored gold, as you may be able to see, which actually works for me as part of the lamp you can’t see is a silvery cut glass. But it’s something to watch for. This is the only standout unique LED vintage styled bulb I was able to find. Looks amazing and we'll priced. Dims quite well which will allow nice accent lighting. Bulb lights up at lowest dimmer setting, unlike others I have tried. However the light intensity does not transition smoothly with dimmer. It will just will just suddenly switch to a much brighter mode, which is fine for my use. Not 5 stars because the glass has some minor deformaties and scratches, but overall good buy especially because it's unique. May update if bulb dies prematurely. Read more

I adore this bulb. I have an antique lamp inherited from my grandmother and it wasn’t my style. Something as simple as replacing the old fashioned bulb and stained lamp shade made this lamp a gorgeous accent in our space.
