This is by far the BEST insert I've used in my gym shoes. My feet size is a 7 and I didn't have to trim these at all. Both the insole and the inserts are of good quality. My pain started at the top of my right foot and upon seeing a podiatrist and doing my own research online and on YouTube, my arches are "falling" and causing the pain. The first time I wore these for 2 days without the inserts and they felt very comfortable! Following the detailed instructions, I use the minimal inserts and I can tell right away and confirm that my right foot's arch is flattening. When I wore these insoles with the minimal insert, I can feel the arch support immediately on my right foot. On my left foot, I really didn't feel the insert. I've shopped and walked around the stores for 2 hours straight and they were comfortable. At home, I also wear slippers with better arch supports. They are the Orthoheel slippers sold in Amazon and on Zappos. Having arch support like these for my outdoor shoes and indoor slippers, have helped alleviate my top of the foot pain tremendously.... actually it's practically gone. I've tried many other arch support insoles (including Superfeet) but really love being to customize these insoles with the included inserts. So glad I found these here! Read more

They are comfortable and support my arches perfectly. I’ve bought them several times, since nothing else has worked as well. Read more

Have helped quite a bit with foot pain. More comfortable to wear than the hard plastic orthotic arch insert style. Read more

These orthotics made so much difference in the pronation issue I have. The pronation caused a very thick callus on the bottom of my big toe which would split open and bleed. The custom orthotics helped some, but they did not begin to do what these did. These can be adjusted by adding or subtracting height from the arch and with my custom orthotics, I could not do this and had to pay for any adjustments. These are firmer but not too hard. It did not take any time to adjust to these. I now have several pairs so I do not have to switch them between shoes. The great news, I no longer have the callus and therefore, no pain! Great product! I found that the arch support given by the orthotics was superb. However, the thickness under the heel was enough that I was unable to wear it in the shoes for which I purchased them. The back of my heel was raised much too high and rubbed against a seam. I can and do wear the orthotics in high tops. I also attached the extra arch cushions to a different liner since I didn’t need them so that works in the original shoe. I would say these orthotics need a shoe with a high and smooth inner heel design but are otherwise a good alternative to custom inserts. Read more

I don't really know if I want to give it 4 or 3 stars, but they did help. I think I ended up not using the extra inserts or just the one insert each. THEY ARE THICK/HIGH so even if they help, you need shoes that'll fit them and your feet. And even if they do fit, your shoe might not be fitting your foot as well because your heel is not as secure. They work better with boots that can hold it all in. This is even if you take out the original soles. YOU HAVE TO CUT THEM TO USE. Or you could be lucky and they fit without modifications. I just took out the original soles, aligned the heels, traced the edge of the toe and cut. So modification is not hard, but once you cut them, you can't return them. Naturally they hurt to use at first. Start with NO insert, just the sole, and then build up if you need to. Read more

To start off I have chronic pain for multiple reasons, and my feet feel like the heel bones are going to burst through the skin all the time. These are the ONLY inserts that I have found so far that helps at all. I have insanely high arches, after going to a foot doctor and having x-rays, etc. it was determined that my arches are very very, VERY high. Like the highest that they ever see. My rheumatologist first recommended another brand, SuperFeet. I was previously using those, tried a couple different ones of theirs. Then I tried these on a whim. I’ve never looked back. of course the pain is not gone, but I don’t expect it to be. They help a lot. My advice is if you’re in between two sizes- go down one size, or the arch support may feel like it’s in a weird spot underneath your foot. Also, when you’re buying a pair for the first time, pay attention to the wearing them short amounts of time at first or you’ll be sorry lol! Read more

they seem to be of decent quality….but…. they do not work for me. Athe painful break in by period, they will be put back in the packaging and put in a drawer somewhere. I wanted them for my daily wear tennis shoes but they took up too much room in my shoe. They lifted me up too and yes supported my arch( too firmly) , but they also left me without upper foot support and ankle support and my heel was lifted up where my tennis shoe was no longer covering the entire heel. I actually felt like I was going to twist my ankle at any given moment. Since they changed to where my foot was sitting ,my shoe started stretching out in the middle as opposed to where my foot was normally suppose to sit right above the sole . (yes i took out the original sole, it was paper thin in comparison to these) I see were these might work for a high ankle shoe or boot but definitely not a basic tennis shoe but that’s just my opinion.
