This charger does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It charges my Apple Watch quickly and consistently with no problems so far. The magnetic connection is solid, it’s easy to use, and it’s been reliable for daily charging. No overheating, no disconnecting, and no complaints. Great value and I’d definitely recommend it. I was tired of my Apple Watch dying on me during work hours because I forgot to charge it the night before. It was a hassle to walk around with a useless watch on my wrist or to have to remove it since I kept glancing at the dark screen lol. This is one of the 2 watches I bought to try out. I really like that this one comes with a USB-C to USB converter. I forgot to take a picture of it, but I removed the converter and used it with USB-C on my hub. Very compact with no cord in sight and easy to toss in your purse and go. Works as expected and charges my Apple Watch 10 series without issues. Magnet is strong and doesn’t bend from the weight. Haven’t tried charging it in other ways but I’m sure it would hold up based on other reviews. Great design and I recommend. Read more

Works great as an alternative to the full Apple watch charger, especially for travel as I can just plug it into any USB brick. Charging is a bit slower than the official charger, but the convenience is a worthy trade off. Read more

I am the owner of a 45mm Series 9 Apple Watch and while I love the product, keeping the watch charged up on travel days has proven to be a challenge. This is especially true during a day of air travel through multiple airports and a tight flight schedule where you often don't have time to plug your watch into a conventional AC charger at the gate if you can even find one that is available for use! While it is relatively easy to plug my iPhone into the public charging stations using a USB C cable, the Apple Watch presents a little more of a problem due to the lack of a USB C port and only the Mini MagSafe system on the back of the watch chassis. My solution was to plug this component into the USB-C port on one of my ANKER Nano Power Banks! The result is a 30 Watt fast charging solution that is 100% portable and can even be carried along by the USB C cord/strap while walking through an Airport! ! This solution works as well as I could have possibly hoped for and actually charges my Series 9 faster than my 25 Watt Anker desk charger or even my Anker 3 in 1 Travel Cube. And since both of those charging solutions require AC power to operate they are not really a viable option in this case anyway. So... If you have been running into a similar charging dilemma for your Apple Watch, I would strongly suggest picking up one of these little gems and a USB-C port equipped power bank of your choice, although I would also highly recommend you go for the ANKER Nano Power Bank with that impressive 10,000mAh capacity and a solid 30 Watt Fast Charging capability. A true match made in heaven! UPDATE: Anker recently came out with a new product called the "MagGo PowerBank for Apple Watch" which is basically a standalone version of this combo I just described above. Naturally I had to pick one up and just received it tonight. This new power bank has an expanded metering system which is really cool and far more advanced than what you'll find on the Nano series. And it does have a dedicated Apple certified pop out charging puck built into the side of the battery chassis. This is great for an all-in-one solution! But I also need to mention that the older nano series with this handy little charging puck I'm reviewing here provides the exact same level of charging speed as this new device. The only drawback to my original solution is that you don't wanna lose the charging puck since it's not permanently attached to the power bank so you need to be careful when transporting this stuff that the two don't get separated. Love the portability of this little guy, but save it for emergencies only because it doesn’t matter how powerful your charger is, your watch will only charge at .5W using this adapter. It’s almost a trickle charge. I wondered if it was slow or if I was just impatient, and it very well may be a combination of both, so I tested its output speed. In this case I’m using the awesome Anker Prime Power Bank, and as you can see in the picture this little Apple Watch adapter is only capable of outputting .5W. Takes all day to charge my Apple Watch Ultra 2. The UW2 can allegedly charge at 20W with the right adapter. This Anker Prime Power Bank (https://a.co/d/8IXypWv) can output at something ridiculous like 250W, so the Anker isn’t the weak link in the chain. At any rate, buy this tiny adapter only if you A.) have all the time in the world to charge your Apple Watch, or B.) need the absolute smallest form factor you can get for an Apple Watch charging adapter.
