I just got my 2002 Corvette yesterday, and ordered this car cover for it. I got it to keep dust off my car in the garage and to keep leaves and other debris out of the seems and crevasses of the car if I have to park it outside. It is specific to the C5, and fits very tight with elastic front and rear, shaped well to the body of the car and has mirror pockets that are in exactly the correct places. It also comes down very low on the car, nearly completely covers the tires, and has straps to strap it to the spokes of the wheel to keep it from blowing off, and, of course, a main strap that goes across the bottom of the car in the middle. It also has a big zipper down the driver side, top to bottom, to allow access to the driver door without removing the cover. The materiel is very plastic feeling, no soft fuzzy inside layer. And, the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that plastic inner layer was so stuck together as it came out of the packaging that it was an extreme struggle to open it up to install on the car. After I finally got it pulled apart, it did install pretty easily. So, I've only had it on the car for one night in the garage, so far so good, hoping it lasts a good long while. Read more

Sun damages fast

Ordered on June 10, 2025; today is August 12. Cover is already very sun-faded on the red part and is now getting very brittle and cracking, and ripping, allowing rain to get in and soak the lining and to pool under the nose where the elastic forms a pocket. I know it's a cheaper one, but I was expecting more than 2 months' use out of it. Update- seller was quick to respond and offer to replace the cover with the same one or an upgraded model. If you need to cover & uncover your car frequently, this is NOT the one for you. It has torn 3 separate occasions, in different places. After re-ordering 3 times, we give up. We are trying another brand that hopefully will allow frequent usage. The sun fades the red coloring quickly. Read more
