Be ready to put a lot of time into this product. Solid pivot and bearing setup, no sagging, no rattles with 37-inch tire installed. Several concerns and issues though: black coated hardware is not stainless, be ready to make a trip to the hardware store to buy better hardware. finish shipped with imperfections, be ready scuff and recoat all items. Tire mount has welded studs (M12 1.25) that are smaller than the Jeep JL wheel studs, so be ready to by new oversized lugs to help set your wheel on the bracket. The lower mounting lips are about 1/4-3/8" away from frame points, so be ready to buy several 1/4" block washers...but since the bumper metal is thin it will bend as you torque the bolts but the finish coat will crack and quickly rust. While the setup for the backup camera and reverse sensors have good fitment, there are no cabling support points so be ready to drill and paint new holes. There is no cable path within the tire mount either so be ready to customize a way to secure the cabling around the tire bar pivot. I also had to buy a 4-ft coax extension to route the camera cable from the tailgate around the pivot hinge and up to the tire mount. The reverse LED's are cut into a beveled slope of the bumper so they shine upwards and not the ground plane. This product included the license plate bracket but no provision for the LP light, so be ready to drill more holes, but a plate mountable LP light, and extend your factory LP light wire about 10-feet to go through the bumper, around the pivot, and strap to the tire carrier are with the camera cable. I liked how this looked and everything it offered until i installed it, after putting the spare tire on the gate sags, I bought this because I have 20in rims and was going to throw on some 35in tires, but after seeing how the gate sags, I’ll probably be looking to spend money elsewhere to replace this, also to rear spare gate is stand alone so it doesn’t attach to the tailgate door, so if you want your camera to work, you’ll need to find cable for that, honestly don’t waste your money go elsewhere, I’m curious how I’m even going to return this thing after assembling it, not worth the money, and with the door sagging the quality is lacking. Just took this thing through a 500 off-road rally. No rattles, no bouncing, everything stayed tight. It’s a great value for the money. The only complaints I have is there are no directions so you kind of have to know what you’re doing but everything lined up great. Also you will have to relocate the 3rd brake light. Read more
