These corner shelves arrived well packaged with each pair wrapped separately in protective cardboard and shrinkwrap. The hardware package included all necessary mounting screws with extras provided, along with plastic anchors for drywall installation. Installation took approximately 20 minutes for all four shelves. The instructions were adequate - straightforward enough to follow without confusion. Each shelf mounts with a backing bracket that attaches to the wall corner, then the shelf slides onto it. A small leveling tube is included, though it's cylindrical so it rolls around rather than staying in place during use. I worked around this by using a standard level instead. The shelves fit corner angles properly and sit flush against both walls. The walnut finish looks consistent across all four pieces with no obvious color variations. The wood appears to be paulownia with a stained finish that has held up well during handling and installation. The 10-inch depth provides useful storage space without protruding too far from the corner. The rounded front edge gives them a finished look and prevents sharp corners. After installation, the shelves feel secure on the wall and the weight capacity seems appropriate for typical corner shelf uses - small plants, decorative items, toiletries. Installation was easy, 2 mounting holes on each side, came with 20 screws for the 4 shelves, because, well... humans. One minute, there's a screw in your hand, the next, it's somehow lodged in your underwear drawer and you don't find it until after your next shower. Should have learned the first three times. One thing to note, it does show the gap at the back for running wires and I'm sure it probably works on most walls, unless you have that little piece of corner molding. The realistic gap is around an 1/8 of an inch. I wasn't putting anything with wires on it so it's a non-issue, however, if I were, that would have been disappointing. They are light, as the title states. They're fine for the knick-knacks and the pictures I have on them, but I'd get longer screws and anchors before trusting them with something heavy. The sticker things that go over the shiny screws could be tossed and use some of the same color nail polish or crafter's paint. Might make them seem less "inexpensive". Not a 5, but I would buy again if I needed more, so I'll give it 4. Read more
