I wear a solid 8.5 medium/regular and have a high arch - I ordered a size 9 to be safe. They fit great and allowed for wiggle room, even with socks. Some have complained about a chemical smell; however, it was very mild and dissipated after a day or so being outside of the packaging. They are exactly as pictured. I wore them on a recent trip to a cold climate in which I was doing a lot of walking/cabbing around and they held up well - not one stitch came loose and the sole certainly isn't tearing away like some of the other reviews.
