I moved this bathroom from brushed nickel to black. I was looking for a good quality waterfall style black faucet and decided on this one. It has a nice easy install- but the drain is a bit narrow for a modern sink. I will need to change out the drain, because water is pooling around the drain rather than just going down. If you have a wider drain hole you may need a different drain to go with this. My last drain which came with the faucet was the bigger style and a perfect fit. I love the matte black because it takes less cleaning - no water spots - to keep looking nice. This is my teen boys’ bathroom. We weren’t sure whether this type of faucet would work in our bathroom, but so far we are quite happy with it. The brownish/bronze hardware actually suits the sink area quite well. The faucet handle is easy on/off and swivels smoothly. The installation went relatively well. The hardest part was removing and replacing our old drain. This might be easier on a new sink rather than an existing one. The faucet was less trouble. You could have a plumber do it for you, but honestly if you have any experience with a wrench and pliers, you can DIY relatively easily. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The waterfall effect is really nice and quieter than our previous faucet. It felt unusual at first, but we got used to it in about a week. The only drawback is less downward water pressure, for rinsing off toothbrushes, etc. But that’s a minor thing and on balance the sophisticated upgrade is worth the trade-off. Read more

I am so happy with this new faucet. I was finally able to find time to put it in and it was so worth the wait. This was my first faucet installation and it was super simple. I even impressed my husband! The water pressure is just what I wanted. Not so strong that water sprays everywhere, but strong enough to do the job. The water flows out like a gentle waterfall. It is amazing to me that this faucet gave my bathroom the little facelift it needed. It looks so good on my vanity. The kit comes with everything you need including a special wrench to tighten down the faucet. The only problem I ran into was the pipe from the faucet is smaller than the plumbing already installed. A quick trip to the local hardware store and a couple of bucks later that was fixed. This is an exceptional faucet for an exceptional price. Just FYI, the filter will need to be cleaned but it is not removable. A suggestion would be to spray the filter with CLR or vinegar to take care of any lime build up. Read more
