This thing is a steel. And a steal. And the real deal. It is perfect for the task. Absolutely PRO+ level. Rinses off completely clean for easy storage. Each pad lasts a long while and is easily removed and replaced. I recommend the higher grits. Will last a LIFETIME. In the (hopefully unlikely) event replacement pads ever become unavailable, you could still make your own from self-adhesive sandpaper or use simple double-stick tape. Upgrade from those disposable pumice stones and get yourself one of these! Whether you are using for personal use or a professional using them for clients these are much safer. Easy to remove the file sticker and disinfect before attaching another file sticker to use on clients. Apply a little cuticle remover and then scrub the rough parts of the soles of the feet and you will have the softest feet. I love the stainless steel because it’s easy to disinfect and holds up in the disinfectant solution. Be sure to remove sticker file after each use to avoid bacterial growth. Read more

Comfortable to hold and use, good weight. The included file pads are thick and work well, but do not come off easily, and they leave a lot of adhesive residue, which isn't great for professional use since I have to scrub extra hard and use goo-gone on the paddle between clients. Read more

I absolutely love this! I am a very active senior woman who cannot afford regular pedicures so am always filing my heels and calluses myself. The plastic foot files have not been coarse enough to remove the cracked skin on my heels and other calluses without a lot of work and I’d buy new ones every few months. But this For Pro file is wonderful! I’ve only used it once but it smoothed the calluses from the sides and heels of my feet with very little pressure. Also… I spent a little time learning about the different “grit” categories. The lower the grit, the more coarse. The lower grit it comes with is 80 so I also ordered 60 grit replacement pads and will play with them later:) And the file is stainless and heavy duty at what I consider a very reasonable cost.
