I go at this bag to protect my future wedding dress after I read that some plastic wrap can lead to yellowing of the fabric, and I need to store it for 8 months. The bag is a good size for the job and the hanger with a soft bar is a nice touch, so as not to strain the dress. I give it five stars with the caveat that I've only just bought it and also I wish it would have had a zipper instead of buttons. However, I can see that zippers might get caught in valuable dress fabric so perhaps the buttons are a safe way to go. Also note that this bag is best for storage and not transport- the fabric does not seem very waterproof, which is fine for breathability in a closet but not for the open road. Read more

I purchased this to store a couture wedding gown. I used to work in a museum, so I know how important it is to store textiles in natural materials like cotton, rather than plastic. This bag is high quality. I returned the item, however, for the follow reasons: The bag was not long enough to store the dress without bunching it up on the bottom. My dress is 85" and the bag is only 70" long. It was my fault for not measuring the length of the dress before I made the purchase. In addition, everything in the package, the bag, hanger, tissue, gloves, all had a very strong lavender scent that I did not like at all. The description notes that it comes with a lavender sachet, which I figured I would just toss. I did not realize that the scent would come through the plastic packaging as strongly as it did making each item smell. I recommend that the seller makes the items available without the sachet. good quality, nice material, everything is great except i wish there was a handle at the bottom so i could fold the bag in half to transport or for temporary storage as needed. this is a personal problem, but the rod in my closet is too low for me to be able to hang this and not have the bottom quarter sitting on the ground, so i have to store it in a different closet at home that's harder to get to. getting it in/out without having a handle on the bottom makes it a little challenging.
