Foundation Makeup Colour Changing Foundation Moisturises Skin Creates a Natural Flawless Makeup Waterproof and Sweatproof Suitable for Many

This is my first time using a color changing foundation makeup so I have nothing to compare it to and did not really know what to expect. The first thing I noticed about this makeup is that it is scented. The scent is not entirely unpleasant however I did continue to smell it even after it was on my face, so people who are sensitive to scents might want to be aware of this. The makeup comes in a pump bottle that was easy to apply. I used a makeup brush to evenly distribute the makeup onto my face. It goes on pretty smoothly and offers a light to medium level of coverage. It goes on white but I was able to blend the makeup into my skin fairly easily. However, I did notice that due to its white color it left my skin at least one shade lighter. It also left an almost grayish tint to my skin which I didn’t particularly care for. I layered the makeup with a pressed powder on top that was slightly deeper than my natural skin tone and it evened things out and gave me a nice finish. For reference, I am pretty fair skinned so this wasn’t a deal breaker but I’m not entirely sure this will translate well on someone with a deeper or darker skin tone. I give this product 4 stars because I did wear it all day and it stayed on nicely and didn’t make my skin feel greasy or heavy. It also didn’t cake or settle into fine lines however it is scented which may bother some and the color is not entirely natural looking on my skin and needed an additional layer of powder to match better. I am really enjoying this color changing foundation. It goes on as a white cream and quickly adjusts to my skin tone, which is quite pale this summer. It dries quickly, so it is best to start with a little bit and spread it out quickly. It's similar to working with a tinted mousturizer. Brush and sponge work for application, but your hands may be quicker. This provides more coverage than a tinted moisturizer. It is excellent at toning down red. See photos. This is my second foundation from Tailaimei brand; I liked the first because it suited my fair skin and I gave this product a try also based on its claim to shift color. I noted that it does not work on all skin tones when sharing it with my granddaughter. I am a 65+ very fair-skinned woman while my granddaughter has deep olive skin. PROS: + Blends Well For Fair and Light-Medium Skinned People: On my lighter skin, this foundation was able to match my ivory shade very well, even after I tanned over a few weeks on the beach. It does indeed shift, but not much from its original whitish color, which is on the cool side and may compliment people of cooler skintones better. + Creamy, Enduring, and Silky: The formula of this foundation is very smooth, and when used with a primer lasted me 8-10 hours with one powder touch up. The coverage is medium and did not irritate my sensitive skin nor cause me breakouts, sitting lightly on my skin when applied in a modest amount. There is some chalkiness that helped me cover blemishes, but it does not act like a true concealer. CONS: - Not for Medium-Deep Skin: While this worked well on my natural fair skin, it did not shift well for coverage on my deep-olive skinned granddaughter looked like a ghost, no matter how much she rubbed it in. It also has somewhat of a cool tone to it, so on her warm-toned skin, she looked rather ashy. - May Be Heavy on Oily Skin: While it sits lightly on dry and normal skin, the formula may be a bit much for folks with oily skin, especially if you try to build it for coverage. It works like magic! The ingredients are clearly listed on the back of the box. It also lists an expiration date that is 5 years from now. The bottle is pretty and it has a pump style top. The foundation comes out stark white. It looks and smells like sunscreen during application. I was unsure of how it would look in the end. So I was pleasantly surprised when it dried and matched my light skin! It minimized the redness in my face. The dark circles around my eyes were lessened and my faint freckles were fully invisible. My skin is currently very dry. It did tend to gather around the dry spots but way less than any other foundation I have tried. It was lightweight. I don't wear makeup very often and usually can feel it when I do. This foundation did not bother me at all. It lasted all day without any touch-ups. It's a winner for me! So glad I decided to try it! This product arrived today without protective cellophane wrap and no protective seals. Additionally, it has unsafe ingredients including PARABENS, unsafe synthetic chemicals used as preservatives that can potentially disrupt the hormone system (see photo with ingredient list). China is not held to the same safety standards as we have here in the USA. The idea of color changing foundation sounded fun to try but not at the risk of my health. I do not recommend this product.
