I bought shade #4 after trying shade #5 from another listing. I really liked it, and was curious if #4 would be a better match. I have to say that #5 was pretty spot on, but sat kind of neutral. Where as #4 looked to be a better match for my cool undertones. Side by side I like #4 better, but it is such a close match up that really either work. I like that it provides a super lightweight look and feel. Not really something that builds or stays well in place. I think a little more fuss will be needed to achieve that. I like this for just a quick sprucing up. This is pretty much what I have been looking for for a long time. I want a subtle, sheer tint that doesnt settle into lines or mask my natural glow. I dont need coverage, I just want to "spruce up" a bit. Something that may even out my skin, even if my skin is pretty good looking already. This provides that. I like that it is a multi-tasker, not just a piece of makeup. Stick form makes it easy to apply this "tinted serum". I dont think it is capable of medium to full coverage as it doesnt mask skin. It does buffer out the overall appearance while absolutely maintaining a natural, dewy look. It is very moist. Not exactly oily, but it does leave a sheen, which I like. I like dewy. But this might slide right off of oily skin or overly moisturized skin. I have to let my prior applied skin care (including sunscreen) to fully absorb and dry before adding this on. If I want to build up layer of "coverage", I wait for this to dry down a little. But it takes time. It just "moves around" for awhile if I touch it. Pretty sure it wont hold up to sweat. No fuss application. I can swipe it all over face then just pat it into place, or I can use a brush. I have done both, and really just using my fingers have been fine. My skin is fair, with rosy cheeks, clear, but with some dry bits. Nearly no lines, but probably if I look really close I may find some on my late 40s dry skin. I like that I can put it all over, including under eye area and eye lid. No irritation, no settling making things worse. Overall I am impressed. I think I will try is as a BASE, then use a regular foundation or a baked powder on top. I'm just curious what all can be done with this. Again, I dont need coverage, but I would like this look but with more staying power if I wear it all day or I get sweaty. One thing I noticed is that it seems to overall stay consistent looking on my face-- not like I suddenly have a bare spot. I can reactive it by placing my warm hands over my face and pat all over. In summation, I think it is worth trying. Nice that is under $10 so it wont hurt the wallet if it doesnt work out. Being in stick form, I would pass it on if I didnt like it.
