The media could not be loaded. It's easy to ensemble and it came very well packaged, it's quite lightweight, I love that it can be used with the included power adapter or with batteries, this enabled me to use it in a table that's away from an outlet. The manual is quite clear on how to operate and calibrate, something not too common when purchasing on this price range. One of the reasons I purchased this is the adjustable legs, as the table I have is not too level, so this worked perfectly, also the calibration process was quite straightforward. Not my use case (as with the current precision I'm ok) but it'd be interesting to see a resolution of 0.0001 g Read more

Maybe the one I sent was faulty. Asked for a replacement. So far its not looking good. After unboxing the scale was pluged into the wall outlet using the provided power plug and then calibrated using the provided weight. Calibration is faulty. After multiple attemps, the scale would always report the calibration weight to be off by -0.352 to -0.291 grams Using a seperate scale, the calibration weight was measured at 200.00g Testing with 2 different certified weight sets generated the same results Between 200.000-25.000 grams the resolution was only 0.25g. Addition of anything less would not change the readings. Below 25g the scale begains to drift, increasing by 0.001g per second. After 5 minutes the 25g weight went from 25.141 to 25.461g. And the scale was still counting up. Accuracy was tested 200-25g 0.15% 25-1g 1.6% 1.00-0.500 2.4% 0.500-0.100 30% 0.100-0.010 65% 0.010-0.001 70% The test where then performed by using a fresh 9v battery instead of the wall plug. The results where the same. Another note, after every weighing, the weight was removed and the scale would not return to zero. It would always show between 0.1 and 2.0g and have to be zeroed The battery cover will not snap into place with a battery in the compartment. Its simply not big enough. The scale has no manufacturer lables, not even the voltage of the power input. Nor does it list is weight range or accuracy values. Update: After receiving the replacement, it was subjected to the same testing with the same results. This is not a milligram scale. At best, the resolution is +/- 0.250g Read more

Purchased for local high school for use in science classes. There are some issues with the scale that surround the draft box. First level the scale and make certain there is NO corner to corner movement when you put light finger pressure on opposite corners. When I used the draft box lid, the scale becomes unstable which is counter intuitive. Until that is I realized that the box sits on specific pressure points at the four corners and has enough weight to impact the force sensor inside. I removed the draft lid permanently, calibrated it again, and it has been fine ever since. I put the draft box on again, and it became unstable. The outer case is NOT strong enough to stop the interference with internal workings. I verified this by putting a small amount of pressure on the four corners with fingers and sure enough it became unstable exactly as it was with the draft lid on. Took the lid off permanently and set it to the side. Scale has been calibrated and stable ever since without issues. Read more
