these wee pads work great for my senior dauchshund. they absorb well, preventing runoff unlike other pads do. the size is great as I can turn the pad so that he can use 4 corners getting more use out of one pad. i prefer the largest size for this reason. they are more pricey, but ultimately worth the money because of size and absorption. These are excellent. I accidentally ordered the Xtra large size but I'm glad I did because I now don't need to lay down multiples. And I'm not sure if this is specific to the large size or not, but these pads are SUPER thick and will absolutely not leak. Now when I say that, I don't leave a wet potty pad laying for days. I usually let my 12lb Chihuahua pee on it for a day (usually 2-3 times) and then I replace it. But these are the ONLY pads I've purchased over the past 10 years that haven't leaked. I will certainly continue to buy this brand from now on. Thank you for making a quality product! Read more

I didn’t think posting images of used potty pads was appropriate, so instead, I posted images of my dogs so you can see their sizes, as they are the ones using these (plus I think they are really cute). I started using these pads in 2017 when my first dog (a Shih Tzu puppy) came into my life (at just the right time I might add). Then in 2022, my little Shih Tzu (we think she is a Yorkie & Shih Tzu but whatever she is, she is perfect) came along and was too afraid to go outside. She is 100% an indoor dog. I have ordered these so often that I finally got smart and put it on a subscription. So, here’s the thing. My big dog (not that big, 17 pounds) finds that he likes the convenience of going inside, especially in the rain! Why am I telling you all of this, well.. These potty pads were intended for the little 4-pound, girl pup who doesn’t deposit all that much. However, my big-boy pup, who now uses them, has a lot to leave behind and these pads can take it! I get the extra-large (24” x 38”), they are quilted and well lined. They absorb almost instantly, unless they miss and their offerings land on the blue trim, then that is not absorbable. And to compensate, I have reusable potty pads underneath. These are well made, multi-layered, leak-proof and are truly the best out there. These are a 5+++ and I truly recommend them (so do my dogs). I have been using them for my dog, and they are the best on the market. They have a rim to avoid spillage. Read more

Even though our 9 lb. Shih Tzu (the cutest dog in the world) is 8 years old we just started using a pee pad with her. We live in a loft and she was trained to newspaper since she chewed all previous pads we tried. That said, we thought we would try again because she pees a lot and we were continually cleaning a mess because newspaper isn't very absorbent. We're not sure if it's because she's 8 now' but she took to these with no coaxing at all, and doesn't chew on them. We tried another brand from Petco which were AWFUL! They were very thin and leaked like a sieve. So before making a purchase of another brand, I studied the reviews for several pads. While these had several bad reviews, those reviews seemed to all be older and the most recent ones were very positive so I went for it. Even though she's a small dog, I wanted a large pad since. These pads are large, fairly thick and quite absorbent. She can use them several times without any leaking! The only negative comment I have is that I don't care for the large border because the dog often goes close to the edge and when she does everything flows onto the floor. I solved this problem by turning all of the edges under so there is no border. Since then we never have a mess. What a relief! I highly recommend these pads. Read more

The best pee pee pads on the market. I’ve tried them all and this is the one. These come in a variety of sizes. They are thick and don’t leak of slide around. They do smell like peep if you don’t change it every day . Urine stinks. But that is the reason to get them and to get a large size to keep the urine from your floor. My pup is old and had mobility issues and she is diabetic so she wee wees a lot. She is a small yorkie and I use the 36” size to layer over a washable training pad. This is best for me to minimize the need to wash the washable pad and a large box lasts a long time. I used to buy the small size pads because my dog is a small yorkie, but I ended up using 4 times as many. This pad absorbs a lot of pee spots and replaced with a new one every day to reduce the odor. It does the job well. Read more

My dog is 9 lbs. and is mostly an indoor pet. I take him for walks but he does not go potty outside. He never has. We got him when he was six months old and he was already pee pad trained. My husband and I work different shifts. He is constantly being mandated to do over time. So a potty schedule is hard to manage. Our home is all tiled; only a few throw rugs, due to my allergies. So when I bought my first throw rug he did go on it. But I threw it in a washer after telling him no. I caught him ready to go on it a couple more times, repeated no and haven't had a problem since. I gave him his own rug under his dishes and one at the bottom of the couch to lay on when the floor is cold. He learned very quickly that these were not pee pads. I know some people say if you let your dog use pee pads, he will use the carpet as a pee pad, too. Training and consistency is the rule for any animal (not to mention child, :-) ha ha). I love these they are well made, hold a lot of urine and are large enough for our pet. He is three years old now and still uses pee pads. I bought the extra large pee pad holder and have these auto shipped every other month. When I have too many boxes I stop shipment for awhile until the use catches up. Then I auto ship again. The poop is flushed down the toilet and the pads thrown away. Its no different or worse than following a pet around outside until they go and then cleaning up. We have a town pet cleanup policy. Our yard is always clean. I probably would not recommend it for large dogs. I don't think the pads are big enough. Great for people living in the city, apartments, senior facilities, etc. I would highly recommend for small dogs. Orders always come in this great box and very fast. I hope this review helps you.
