I was looking for something special to decorate my living room and came across this wall art. It is a striking showpiece that measures about 30 inches wide and 60 inches tall. There are several different designs to choose from, and I selected the one featuring koi fish and deer with a river flowing through the scene. One of the most unique features of this piece is the built in LED lighting. Certain parts of the artwork are illuminated, which gives it a modern look and really highlights the details of the design. I especially like how the koi fish appear to swim through the water, the reflection of the moon in the lake, and the stag and doe standing together at the bottom. The overall scene feels very calming and relaxing, which is why I mounted it near the entrance of my home as a peaceful way to end the day. One thing to keep in mind is that the LED lighting requires power, so you will need a nearby outlet where you plan to hang it. This is different from traditional wall art. This painting is great, and it fits perfectly in the space that was reserved for it. It came in a really large box and was perfectly wrapped. Inside the red package were the remote and some other replacement parts. The plug was wrapped and also inside the painting. Nothing was damaged because it was so well packaged. The pro It looks beautiful. It is long, but not really that heavy. It was easy to install, but you'll need two people to help you so it doesn’t look crooked. The lighting worked great once plugged in. It is not too bright, but it does help illuminate the place at night. It stays very sturdy, granted; I did use different hardware than the one provided because the one provided looks so flimsy. The Cons The remote came with no batteries. The hardware looks very flimsy, and I had to get a replacement. I thought the lighting would be around the Brighton pot. It is only around, depending on which, making this really expensive for the value. They could have added a rushing water sound or placed lights around all the bright lines, which would have improved the painting's value. Having the light just around the frame cheapens the aesthetic and makes it less pretty. All in all, it is a pretty painting; however, I will not spend that much money on it because of how it was designed and how the lighting interacts with it. I will not buy again. Read more
