These are beautiful and exactly what I was looking for! I ordered a size 6.5 since that’s my typical show size. That said, they were a little tight on the top of my foot and I struggled a bit to pull the zipper. BUT, they are real leather so they will stretch and after wearing them for one day, I wouldn’t change a thing. Perfect fit around my calf and I would say I have average size calf’s at 5’4” in height. (I’m an athlete, and don’t have muscular calf’s, but some reviews are saying they have narrow calf’s and they were too big. Not so for me!!) The feel is very soft leather, so easy to put on and off with the back zipper. I will wear these when dressed casual or dressed up. So happy they went on sale at 40% off! The media could not be loaded. I want to love them and they really look and feel nice, but I was sent two different width boots. They are supposed to be wide calf and the markings on the inside show that they are, but one is about an inch wider than the other. Very disappointed. I got these for $100 in a sale and my review is based on that price point. The boots are soft and beautiful. They look great on my feet and don't ride up too high at the knee on me. (I am 5'7" with fairly long legs.) They fit snugly. I usually wear a 7.5-8 and ended up going for an 8.5. I bought a normal calf width and have no complaints about how they fit on the calf. I'm on the thinner side but not super thin. I had enough room for leggings or skinny jeans in them and they weren't sticking out too far or anything. They're just right. The zipper on these boots goes all the way down over the heel, to the sole. The zip is pretty stiff and tight over the back of the heel, as some other reviews stated. The zipper has a lining on the inside that is easy to catch in the zipper if you're not being careful. The first pair I got in the mail had clearly been used. The box had been taped shut by Amazon and one of the zips was damaged at the heel exactly the way I stated above. I had to exchange it, and when I did, I opted to get a half-size bigger, too, so that I'd never have the issue myself. I think you need to give yourself a little room or you will break the zipper eventually at the heel just like this person did. I think it'd be hard to get them on and off without undoing the zipper past the heel, too, so it's not like you can avoid unzipping it that far. All in all, I think it was a steal to get these at this price. They look like they'd last for years if you took care of the leather, and their simple design means they're pretty timeless. Perfect for me. My calves are 15” these boots are bigger but with skinny jeans it’s fine. The boots feet are indeed narrow. My feet are B and I have just enough room to wiggle my toes. I have high arches so I always juice up the insoles. I love the cotton twill lining up the sides. The back zipper is a little tricky. I put my finger inside to keep the zipper flap down and they zip up nicely. I’m 5’10” and the boots come up to my knee bone. Very comfortable. I wore them straight out of the box. Durable leather. $110? Are you kidding me? Yep and there is no catch - i have the dark brown and they’re STUNNING. So comfy and there’s a seam up the back of your calf with the zipper - I have 17” calves and they’re snug - if you have bigger than 17”, don’t plan on getting jeans in there. I have had a pair of Franco Strato boots for 10 years love them have worn them to pieces. I bought a pair of boots and I accidentally got the wrong size. These run narrower than I realized returned it re-ordered a 9.5 wide( yes I have large feet) I was sent 8.5. Slipped them. Mine took me a minute to realize they looked exactly the same as my other pair checked the size on the inside plus, the second pair of boots I ordered came in recycled packaging because the original was destroyed and these boots were curled up in the box sent from the retailer.
