I assembled this floor lamp (including unboxing) in about 15 minutes. It was super easy. This floor lamp is sturdy, looks sophisticated, and I love the tan lamp shade and bronze base. The finial on top is a bonus. This floor lamp definitely works well with a mid-century furniture aesthetic. I use ultra soft white light bulbs in this floor lamp since I don't like LED lighting, but you can harsh LED lighting if you like. Wink. Read more

We bought two of these lamps. They were packed well, shipped fast and look/work great. My only gripe is that the threads on one lamp stand and one top finial were not tapped thoroughly and had to be chased and cleaned up in order to assemble the lamp without having to force the pieces together and risk cross threading. I would hope there would have been a little more quality control during fabrication but I just think that's the way it goes these days. But now that they're together, they work well and provide great lighting control. Read more

Purchased with matching designed table lamp. The lamp shipped with a shade that was damaged in shipping. The process to replace the shade went very well but the replacement did not fit he lamp as well as the table lamp. The shade should lay flat on the metal supports but the shade is slightly larger. Got this for a corner lamp to stand over a reading chair in the living room. It's very sturdy and well-built, not like those cheap lamps you get from retail stores for $60-80. Assembly was pretty simple, but the lamp shade itself was a bit larger than we expected. The description is accurate, it's 18" across, but seeing 18" in the description and actually seeing it in person is quite different! Still, can't take off any points for that since it is what it says it is and we managed to make it work in the space regardless. I love the design and the build quality. Certainly worth the price. I bought both the table lamp and the matching floor lamp and am very satisfied. The lamps are solid and well made. Assembled was easy (although you always have to be careful well self assembling to not “cross thread” - in other words, do NOT force the connections when screwing the pieces together. Common sense, really). The on-off switches feel smooth in their operations. I use 9 watt LEDs (each equivalent to 60 watt incandescent bulbs). I recently bought a new sofa, table, chair and ottoman in the Mission style and these lamps compliment them beautifully. Read more
