Depending on the type of breakout, they help reduce swelling and redness, and sometimes even push a blemish closer to healing. What I appreciate most is how thin they are. Some patches I’ve tried in the past were so thick they stood out on my face, but these blend in nicely and are barely noticeable, even up close. They come in three sheets of midsize patches, which works well since that size covers most blemishes I deal with. I wish I could say these perform miracles and get rid of blemishes over night, but I haven’t come across one that does. However, they DO help! Depending on the type of blemish they can reduce swelling, redness or even help move a blemish closer to the end of its journey on your face. Here’s the thing I LOVE about these, they’re very thin (see photo). That’s important because they aren’t easily visible on your face. Some are so thick they stand out like a sore thumb on your face! While these may not banish a blemish overnight, these do cover the redness! So you can also use them to cover a blemish when going out and while it’s “covering” it’s also working to help improve that blemish too! This comes with 3 sheets but all one size, which is ok because it’s in the midsize range and covers 90% of blemishes just fine. It’s also a good value! They are a high quality blemish patch, they don’t cause my skin to be irritated - unless I wear one for two days straight. Then I’ll get irritated redness around the blemish, so I’m sure to take a break in between. That could just be my skin, but something good to be aware of. I’ve never used patches with the main ingredient being tea tree oil so I was intrigued. The size is comparable to the hero patches, and these are slightly less visible on the skin. I don’t get many breakouts to be honest, except once a month, so it took a while to try these. I like how they’re less visible, and they do pull excess oil from the skin, but they don’t stick as well. I had a pimple in a crease and I couldn’t get the thing to stay on, which is why I took a star away. The ones on flatter parts of my cheek stick fine and honestly the pimples went away within a day.
