There doesn't seem to be a flexible waist band, and the spandex content is just 1%, way less than other stretching clothes I own. No way these are going to fit, I said to myself, but boy was I wrong. Perfect fit. I don't know how they did it. This is my first jeans I bought in 3XL instead of numbered sizes, happy with the results!
